I think the stab one is actually a reference to how Angus actually died at the end of The Fires of Ancient Cosmic Destiny. IE, stabbed by the knife of evil, not necessarily meant to throw shade. "I've have drowned in the fires, but haven't lost my soul" is the first line in the song which is also how he died, right after getting stabbed he threw himself into the volcanic fires of Schiehallion. This is gonna be so bizarre, essentially having that album spin off into two timelines lol

Holy hell did not expect this! I was just wondering yesterday at the Gloryhammer gig that "Damn, what might Thomas be doing right now" and then I realise he has JUST released a new single 🔥 I just love the phase of the song, from Angus McFife being thrown in the volcano in the last Gloryhammer album, to abandoning the Gloryhammer, to receiving the sword of power and becoming Angus McSIX, its just delivered so well its amazing!!! And all the cheese it has, this really brings some good cheesy power metal vibes, can't wait to hear a whole album!!

@@MatteV2 After I heard Thomas leave the band I was a bit sceptical how would the new guy perform. But I think he has quite well fit in to band! Not the same level as Thomas was ofcourse, but Michael is doing pretty damn good job filling the role of Angus McFife. Tough I can't say for certain yet, since so far they've only released 1 single with their new singer (Far Away) and otherwise they've played all the older songs on their gigs, which imo did sound better when Thomas sang those. Luckily they are releasing a new album this summer, so I'm really looking forward to seeing how well can they perform! We actually got a bit of a taste from the latest gig where they played 1 song that hasn't even been released yet, the song was something about a sorcerer who was "keeper of celestial flame"... And it sounded really good! And im really looking forward to seeing how their new album will turn out! The fact that Thomas got kicked from the band could potentially have been a win-win situation for all parties, we will see!

They're a new band, only starting in January, but each member were previously parts of really big bands. The singer was previously with GloryHammer, they kicked him out for no known reason and then had their popularity nuked. That's why the song starts "Glory left my hammer"

Ya know,I've got grade 4 glioblastoma. I listen to this song to help me focus and stay determined and strong! Doctors wanna keep telling me I'm gonna die and I'm not gonna be able to do anything even while I'm getting better! Or at least in doing better moving around better. Although I need to stop being a janitor and go back to moving furniture and doing landscaping. Doctor won't give me a return to work release and so..... they're possibly sending me to my death who knows! They think lifting more than 15lbs could kill me from intercranial pressure....and so they of course refuse to send me back to my job where I only lift a broom and a mop. So in 2 hours I'm calling the temp agency and I'm going to work for them again! Moving furniture and doing landscaping primarily! I'm not giving up I'm gonna try my best to start training again get back into martial arts and.....well I need money to date don't I? I figure if I fight hard I can live a lot longer than most people who just kinda die But they literally said "we want you to have a high quality of life" "no we don't want you going back to work you might never work again" America is capitalist, nothing is free. So they're taking away my ability to guaranteed pay my medical bills, reducing the amount of physical therapy I'd be doing because I won't be working,I also now don't have the option to work part time like the job I still have would be willing to do With all their pessimism and being obstinate....the doctors are ironically forcing me into the absolute worst possible position I could be put into!I could literally die next week because they won't just let me go back to work as a janitor! But I've survived a lot of things that are very highly likely to kill people before. And so I've just gotta power through and try not to die anytime really really soon! Figure I've gotta literally fight and train and rebuild the area that's damaged while they're hitting it with radiation and chemotherapy. That way I can have new healthy neurons growing while the bad ones are being destroyed. But hey,first I've gotta deal with doctors trying to rip everything away from me and destroy my life and sending me to do work I CANNOT AVOID THIS IS AMERICA I NEED MONEY work which might actually kill me according to what they've told me! Is it time to rise above? Or is it time to die? Just when you thought the American healthcare system couldn't get any worse.....I'm being sent to die doing heavy manual labor when I could otherwise have a 100% chance to live being a janitor.....but they refuse to give me the paperwork th return to work release that my job needs to let me come back to work! Am I about to be killed by my own doctors? Who knows I don't I've just gotta work as hard as I can and fight until the very end! And this song is one of my favorites for helping me get back into my warrior mentality and keep fighting!
