He's been in the shadows so long didn't think the LP had a "Treasurer".

I am a proud exserviceman BUT I cannot see how the Government can justify spending $550million on the National War Museum refurbishment when there is such a vast shortage of Infrastucture. There is a time for this spending, now is not the time.

This is the same bloke politicising superannuation by wanting to turn it into the American model. Angus talks with a fork tongue.

What the hell is the difference between “the country” being in recession and “every household” being in recession?
@theoneonly259Күн бұрын
Well we want big business to have the capital they need to invest back into the nation when Dutton gets in and cuts the taxes and red tape for them. Then its up to us to lift our productivity and take advantage of the trickle down that will be on offer.

The Treasurer gets to stand there and say we are not in recession cause a household recession isnt a official metric looked at. The Australian public are shit scared of a official recession. FFS its two negitive quarters, if we had had that we would be out the other side by now insted of the over 12 months we are going to have with average inflation ending up 20-25% higher insted of 12-14% higher, but we avoided a recession 😒

As a trained economist, I can say Angus is pretty switched on. And many miles ahead of Chalmers.

The RBA is a political org. If we cared about economics we wouldn't have a central bank. It exists to crush dissent.
@brendanduda1493Күн бұрын
Yes like so many other prosperous and economically successful countries without a central bank....

Very simple. Convert some of our large gold reserves into a 400 billion Bitcoin Strategic Reserve now. This will double in the first year, to give a 200 billion windfall that can be used and 200 billion to be kept to make a 600 billion reserve. That will go up to 3 trillion by 2032 which will comfortably wipe out our national debt and leave us very wealthy. Okay Angus and Jim you dodos..

Shadow ‘treasurer’ Taylor, unable to provide correct figures for Clover Moore’s expenses. Another ‘quality’ member of the irrelevant, whining opposition 😂😂.

Taylor is not an economist. It taken him more than a year to ask one question about economy in parliament. He gets in it will be two trillion in short order.. t
