My Father started raising Angus Cattle in the 1940s, and kept only Angus for the rest of his life. When I left home it was years before I could eat "Restaurant Steak". We fed and butchered our Angus, and that's all I had ever eaten. I didn't know how good we had it on the farm

Very interesting, I never knew that the Angus breed was descended from mixing with Texas Longhorn cows which would certainly have added hybrid vigor enabling them to withstand harsh prairie winters.

I think I saw mr Clark. Clark angus in the video. I bought my first angus bull in 1982 from his son. Crossed with Charolais made the best cow 900 lbs no horns now they are called smokies. Bring great price as the black baldie.

There are only two farms who have pure Aberdeen Angus cows to give them their proper name and they are in Scotland , this American " Angus " breed are all cross breeds

Yessir I agree with you 100% but that is a weak breed gets sick easily high maintenance I recommend mixing it with some texas longhorn to make it easily adaptable and stronger to bacteria, viruses, and diseases
