Omgoodness, first Ani coming to a town near me next year* and now a documentary? This is truly a part of the universe balancing out a very difficult year. As a 41 year old who has followed, loved, and related to her music since i was a teen, it makes me very happy to learn about this documentary and can't wait to view it! *Because of an uncurable medical condition, seeing Ani in Atlanta next March will probably be my last concert, but given that I've seen her live more than any other artist, it seems right that she should be my last. I was in close proximity of her after a show in Covington, Ky once, but would love to get to meet her. I know that's unlikely. This shouldn't matter, but i'm not the normal demographic of an Ani fan, as a black guy living in Alabama, but her music speaks to me like no one else's. Heh, as the people closest to me know, I have an Ani quote for everything. Though she's unlikely to ever see this, "thank you, Mrs. Difranco."
