the singular tower fan here, the one site nobody ever plays is the reason its my fav, bird room and restaurant, 2 entry points aside from walls and hatch, then if u bring kaid bandit and castle or azami you can fully lockdown site and stop the enemy team from entering plus i like the concept of attacking the top floors of an actual skyscraper(fuck "skyscraper") is really cool to me

Tbh I don't get the consulate hate. I understand not liking reworks but from a design perspective it's a perfectly solid map. I 100% agree with coastline. Barley any destructibilty, barley any interesting tapes spots or angles, almost no vert outside kitchen, no breaches to play around, braindead siege

Stadium bravo is my favourite map and only ogs will know why. It is my favourite not because it’s good but because of nostalgia. Who remembers when stadium bravo first came out as a game mode where you could play any operator. I was around level 80 at this point and only had a handful of operators as I would save up my renowns to buy the newest ops. So when this game mode came out me and the boys exclusively played it to learn the game as we would come up with strats using operators we wouldn’t normally play. I learned a lot thanks to this map.

If I’ll be genuinely honest. I loved Bartlett and would run (or at least attempt to run) Article 5 every few days both just to play the map and to help people do it cause no one really tried to play it making match queue time about 5 mins on avg. used it for many customs and whilst I can see all of its shortcomings I can’t help but love it, whilst I’d like them to rework it so it can be brought back into actual matches I feel like they’d have to remove a bunch of the aspects about it that I find fun and enjoy or they’d have to make it so it’s more like other maps in principle in such a way where it no longer feels unique. Even as it is I would say top floor is akin to emerald plains as whilst its a bit more windy and close quartered it’s still effectively just a giant loop with a central view over a middle point of the ground floor, the ground floor is, I will admit though, something as it’s either heavily close quartered or you’re looking down the length of one long a$$ hallway

As someone whose favorite is Kanal it's more of a sentiment thing. Keep in mind I basically only play ranked but idc that much ab my rank. I only play it bc I don't like standard compared to unranked. Back in 2020 during my peak of playing the game my immature friends would call it K Anal which is dumb but lowkey funny. I just always had a lot of fun on it. I won most of games bc my team all had it in their top 3 maps and knew how to play it super effectively. Nowadays I don't have that team anymore so I don't usually do as well with randoms, but I still find it super fun no matter what happens. Idrk I guess it just worked for me. Some of my other favorites are Oregon, Chalet, and pre-rework Consulate (RIP old consulate that map rocked)

Lair and clubhouse is so true. Rn I'm full of r6 dopamine so I watch a lot of pro leage, and my attack defense win rate is so high. Like on defense my operators have 60-80% winrate. It plummets to 20-40% on attack.

SOMEONE FINALLY RESPECTED FORTRESS! I'd rather have Fortress back in ranked than a plethora of current ranked maps. This map clears Coastline or Oregon by far. I think it's better than Kanal, better than Villa, better than Kafe even. It's a severely underrated map, you are right. According to your breakdown I am a really chill guy and a man of class, but apparently I'm Australian and a shotgun crutch. I will say that I consider Oregon to be big Coastline, essentially played out to the point where gunskill is all that matters, and if you love Oregon, you are probably really comfortable with the 40/60 gunfights and don't feel too uncomfortable fighting through the bottleneck. I hate Oregon with a passion. Also Emerald is a good map and everyone that hates on it has cognitive dissonance because they are long timers in Siege who became boomer brained about trying to learn something new. It's better than most maps in the game.

It has to be a tie between NH, Lair, EP and Chalet (I know I am weird). But I feel like on these maps there's always something you can do. As both defender and attacker you are never stuck. It's not one sided either, usually the better team wins. And this one goes mostly for EP, but I genuinely never had a bad gaming experience on it (excluding cheaters). And before someone asks, I am high Emerald. I just enjoy fresh, innovative gemaeplay, not repetitive bs

I like lair as a personal preference cause like emerald planes it’s not bad and balanced people just don’t want to learn it and people on defense play it so awkward and only roam but id say it’s balanced if you aren’t brain dead and it’s great for attack if you know what your doing and learn the map.. its my favorite it’s not everyone favorite but i play the objective and don’t run off like all 5 enemy team players ive seen and just leave the objective open to be walked in. its 50/50 just depends on how good your team is at coordination.
