I used to play drums but it's been over 30 years since I last used my drum sticks. Sometimes I think of going back and start playing again but, just then, I watch a new video of Anika and think I should definitively pick up my drum sticks and burn them. I truly realize I have no buisness behind a drum kit any more but I live my dreams through yuor magic and your art......Danke Anika.

She is one of a kind, probably the only one, who deals with these crazy complex rhythms with such an ease. It's like she's got several Swiss clocks in her head, each one running precisely but still following its own pace, but somehow when combined all together they weave such intricate unconventional patterns, that continue magically and unpredictably interact with each other, creating all those masterpieces. There are many wonderful drummers, but Anika's truly unique creative style is instantly recognizable and makes her incomparable.
