@@anykmusicIt’s not „haha“, it‘s true, and because drum queen is true, I’ve watched many Anika Nilles drumming videos in the last years. Keep on playing so fantastically. There are many, but my favorite song is „Alter Ego“, I love your playing style and perfection of drumming! Mind-blowing! I also make a little music in my Mini Homestudio for the last 2 ½ years, when I retired and began working myself into Logic Pro from scratch. But my drums come from the „Logic drummers“ as I do everything alone, from composing, playing, recording and mixing. Nevertheless I dared to release my so far productions although I‘m just a rookie, hobby musician and a nobody who will never earn money with his music because the studio gear cost so much money that I could never earn it from the few streamings, but it’s great fun to make music. There‘ll be a new song released soon, which is more of „Rock“ than my previous ones, called „Running in Circles“ (what I obviously do with my music). Another fine song in their compliment of great music. As a drummer, Anika is still a magnificent enigma to me. Maybe some day, I'll get it right. Surely, her 5/4 percussive tactics can't be the only answer. There is an overt fluid confident knowledge to her play, which coincides with my adage of "play the way you feel", but my goodness, she writes it all down! Yow!

Hi, Nevell...🔥🔥🔥 I'm a fan of Nevell since I discovered the band on the LITTLE BIG BEAT STUDIOS KZbin channel. What I liked immediately, beyond the virtuosity of the musicians, is the exact balance between pop, jazz and progressive rock. I had never heard that before. Obviously Anika's drums are impressive, but what was most remarkable was the homogeneity of the band and the pleasure of playing together expressed by the smiles on the musicians' faces. On the last two songs Boom and Questions, something changed. Musically, the style is more jazz, and less melodic. I think it's a pity, because this is what made the identity of the band. Joachim's guitar is less present, and as a guitarist myself, I think it's a pity, because his melodies brought a lot of emotion. Something else seems to me not to be really right. Santino's percussion is too much identical to Anika's rhythm and therefore, it doesn't bring much. I think that the percussion should be adapted to Anika's playing, so that they are complementary, not identical. These are the thoughts of a small amateur guitarist, who is not as good as you, but who deeply loves this music. Best Luc
