***** I liked Idina Menzel in Wicked (she was AMAZING as Elphaba), but Let It Go has a very misleading message - it really does mean 'Fuck it All' to be honest. Yes kiddos, be an a-hole and care about only yourself. Jesus. I prefer Tiana to Elsa for sure. At least Tiana doesn't look like a bug-eyed, alien head version of Daenerys from Game of Thrones. I think all those years singing in Broadway kind of strained/ruined her vocals a bit. She's still a great singer, but not as good as she was before. But I can sympathize with that - she did work really hard on her performances, after all. Also I think another singer/voice actor should have been picked to portray Elsa - even if I am an Idina fan.

Princess and the Frog is so underrated. The songs were so amazing and catchy and jazzy, it's what really got me back into disney musicals when I was nine, which led to the demise of my social life through showtunes and Broadway musicals. (Disney is the gateway drug to theatre :) I thought Tiana was such an amazing princess, because she worked hard for everything she wanted, despite being discriminated against and losing her father. And she falls in love with her prince for the right reasons. Although i love Disney, just because a guy is "handsome" doesn't mean I should, oh, I don't know, change my whole life and abandon my family and disobey my parents to be with him. (Don't hate on me, I love the Little Mermaid with a large percentage of my heart.) But Tiana doesn't love him for looks; I mean - they were frogs for about 90% of the movie - she loves him because he brings out things in her that she didn't realize she needed (fun, love, impulsiveness.) I just feel she doesn't get the credit she deserves. I was having a conversation the other day with my friend and we were discussing different Disney Princesses and she totally forgot Tiana and went right from Mulan to Tangled. Plus, Anika Noni Rose. Enough said, Her voice is just powerful.

Cinderella is a very very old movie and has almost the same "moral" than Princess and the frog. Idk if it was just me but I love how in the movie they have their typical marriage, but in the end they live a simple and ordinary life while Tiana has the place she dreamed of, with him. It's not a typical story where they live elegantly and rich. And it's amazing that way

OMG she has such a great voice, i love Lea Salonga, but when she sings live (for Mulan) it's not as close to what's recorded in the studio, but when she does Jasmine, it sounds like the movie. Anika, she IS TIANA through and through, like I they could have used this for the movie, her voice embodies the character to a T, I must say that "I can't even".
