I like how the wealthy kid told his homeless friend not to take money for helping people. It's easy for the wealthy to be high and mighty when all basic necessities are taken care of. It's like the wealthy who has 1000 of something tells the rest of us to give up our 1 of something to help others.

I went to watch this and cried at the first episode. my roommate died a couple of years ago and it devastated me. it was my first experience of death. This reminded me of that. It wasn't the action anime I thought it would be. It was very mature. the action was secondary.

Say what you want but the most powerful beings in the entire series are usually the nigh omnipotent peacekeepers like The Sweeper. You could be the biggest baddest monster on the streets- but the minute the Sweeper rolls through, you stay in line or risk getting the business.

Seems like a pretty cool looking anime. Yet also seems like another anime which seems to show the seemingly western concept of a "happily ever after" seems antithetical to most anime creators. There seems to almost always have to be some significant/tragic loss/sacrifice/twist at the end. I've seen it so many times in so many anime. Things like the protagonist's lover/best friend/family member/teammate dying/having to be killed by the protagonist or somehow being lost to the protagonist, or the hero having to give up something significant like sacrificing their powers(this one's not so bad) or their humanity. Heck, I've even seen it happen /after/ the final battle has been won and the bad guys are defeated in like the last five minutes of the last episode when it can't possibly serve any plot purpose. Apparently to make some sort of philosophical point, but to me if almost felt like being trolled by the anime writer. It seems like even if the hero is powerful enough to utterly stomp the bad guys in every battle in the series, they /cannot/ win the last battle without some big sacrifice.

Download video editing software. Download anime. Cut scenes from the anime into a single video. Talk over it. I mean do you honestly even need to be told this? It's super obvious. But honestly I don't think recap channels are all that good, they spoil too much. The ones that only do the first 1-3 episodes of something to get people interested and see if they'd actually enjoy it are better imo. And it's good if you have amusing or comedic commentary while explaining things, people will appreciate that.
