No, your case will not stand out in court. Bhai ji was traveling to far east and chain setting was at Max. Today RE engine told me chain life is about 12 thousand K.m or max 15K. And Bhai already rode over 32k. And he changed chain set only once. His chain set was Due

People boast of RE service centres available throughout the country but whats the use when they don't have the supply? That's my concern and should a concern of every RE owner.

As a thumb rule, every vehicle manufacturer always supplies spare parts to the dealer six months before delivery of its first vehicle. Moreover chain and front/rear sprockets, brake pads, clutch plates are fast moving items. Not keeping in stock is the gross violation or breach of trust. But interestingly fifty years back my Bullet never faced any such issues. Chain was getting lubricated by the breather pipe and I remember I replaced chain and sprocket sets after four years of purchasing and I do not remember how many thousands of Kilometres I rode! Quality issues will spoil the market of a good bike in India!

Ye issue to har premium bike kay sath hoga, BMW Triumph etc. unka to service center bhi nhi hoga. Not justifying RE but issue with premium segment.

I have been with RE for many years, Now it seems that their services are degraded specifically in India..I booked a SM650 and was told 4 months of waiting..After 4 months they came back saying booking pushed by another 3 months..Had to cancel and went for a different bike…

Better to exchange with Interceptor with self ownership. 22k kms running with stock Chain with majority long trips & rides. SM650 is one of the worst offerings in 650 segment,as per the sales of RE but they are bound to sale it by faking it. Design Fault as per mechanic. But they won't ACCEPT!! Delhi jake interceptor se exchange karwa lo bhai. Peace of Mind hai. Parts bhi available hai compared to SM. But also, keep spare pads & clutch wire for emergency,like you're facing now.

the whole Super Meteor thing was designed with American, Canadian, and Australian markets, where the roads are straight and flat for long distances, ideal for the Super Meteor. I think a lot of the parts are exported to these countries. In India, the Super Meteor is just not a VFM option.

First of all bro ur bike is very premium bike and royal enfield in Northeast region, ur bike model has very less user in NE. So to keep parts for such model in less user area obviously parts will be difficult to get. We ouserlf should be aware first for such emergencies

3600 for keys !? I replaced the entire lock set of my classic 350 from a local mechanic for 1500 with genuine part in Delhi. Thats day light robbery. Also if you have the spare key available then you can make a copy key, the fake key will cost around 250 and the key maker will charge another 150 max

Bhai ak baat to samajh aa gayi ke northeast me saman nahi hai is bike ka. Aap service center pe jane se pahle unke pass call karke puch kyu nahi lete advance me hi service center jane se pahle. Baar baar service center pe jakar sutiya kyu katwa rahe ho apna. Nahi to ak din yahi ruk kar delhi se courier karwa lo yaar. Is puri series ka maja kirkira kar dia hai chain ne.

It's all India issue with RE after sale service they just dont care after sale of their crappy product, I have been searching for simple spark plug for 5 days now and the dealership are just rude assesss 😢 and I too got estimate of 10k for RSA 😂 what a coincidence. Hope you raise complaint to RE
