Tip for the first stage (heavensward FATE farm), if you have the second step of Shadowbringers relics unlocked and the quest for this step active you can farm the memories of the dying needed for that at the same time as they are a garanteed drop when getting a gold on those very same FATEs.

If you have a high level Blue Mage with spells that can pull targets in and one shot them to decimate the FATEs, you can use that job to farm for the elemental crystals for Sindony. You also don't even have to use the same job for the anima relic you are working towards and if there's a job you would rather level up while farming the crystals for the first step you can do so just as long as the quest from Sindony is accepted. You can also, while using the over powered Blue Mage, repeat FATEs over and over to collect multiple crystals to turn in even though you've only accepted a single weapon to create so that you can get multiple Unbral and Astral crystals, that way when you complete the initial quest to start a weapon you can just accept the starting quest for another weapon and turn in the crystals you've already amassed.

So if you've been wondering why there's no FATEs around, that's probably my Blue Mage getting all your crystals.

If you are also doing the SHB relic, you can have both quests active and get both the HW crystals and the SHB memories at the same time when doing the FATES

Once you get to revamping the Zodiac Relics guide, a very important note as it pertains to light farming. Titan EX is now roughly half the length as a run of Aurum Vale because of instantly moving to each phase transition. That'll probably be the really lazy way to do it at cap at least until we can start one-shotting Ifrit EX.

On drg i was already able to finish ifrit ex before he goes invuln, but i imagine thats not the case for every job

@@SgappMS Yeah I tried this with WHM, and the damage just wasn't there yet. Messing with the nails during invuln was too much of a hassle so I just sat there and used Glare IV a bunch on Titan instead. Much simpler. Maybe at the tail end of DT gearing, this will be an option for all jobs, but for right now, using the relic weapon is too much of a dps loss to overcome for every job yet

I second that. For as much as they do with the game you'd think they would make a few weapons for new jobs that they release two at a time.

The Aether Oil can't be gotten anymore via the crystal tower cause the quest was removed in patch 6.3

Cronus Lux was my first completed relic weapon, so the Anima relics are some of my favorites as a result. I am working on the BRD relic right now, actually.

I managed to solo everything I could as a level 80 SMN as I wanted the relic weapon a few weeks back. But geeeeez it was a grind since I didn't have any of the mats or poetics 😢

I agree and disagree with the comment on this wasn't necessary to remake. The speed part of light farming was obvious but the poetics grind while leveling up alt jobs to 100 was a good idea. But personally the poetics grind with Aglaia seems hit or miss cause of queues and ppl being on breaks. But yeah i can say this really could have been skipped all together cause this topic been beaten to death. But that's my opinion.

Thank you for your feedback. I still think it's the target group you have to take into account. Yes we Veteran players know how power Scaling works or what content is actually being unlocked by a new expansion to become soloable, but Newcomers aren't fully aware of these things. I guess I would rather have 10 guides talking about the same thing, instead of Millions of Drama Posts 😅

Working on that already, but those raids are difficult. Most content is level restricted as well, unfortunately

they really need to nerf that whole area so people can run that stuff solo or in small groups :/ its great content but the way its designed sucks now

I've been stacking these materials for about 2 years now and have most of the weapons done. The only thing that's keeping me from having all of the anime relics is the most tedious step, the dungeons. Running like 20 dungeons per relic is horrible and that's why the only relic I have for every job is the EW relics.

nothing changed regarding the guide even in DT because everything is just abit faster thats it, other than that, the crystal farm you can actually pre-farm for all the jobs u have remain, u also dont have to use the job u have the quest with, reaper does the trick by killing everything very quick. i think ur getting out of ideas what videos to make regarding guides XD

That is simply not true. The Light Farm step is much faster solo now than before. Especially if you want to do anima Relics at night time or something similar or just nobody is online to help you out. Everything else might be the same. Aglaia though, feels like one of the best repeatable Poetics Grind steps That also has a nice side-effect of leveling Jobs. So two crucial elements have indeed changed

Anima relics are a big grind for it self, yes, agree. But still if you did the right preparation plus now it is since the last expansion a lot easier to do them solo, you can make an anima weapon in days. But Zodiac Weapons... if you have not enough willpower you will drop it soon enough out of frustration and forget it for months cause those steps suck ass!
