This is my cover of "ANIMA", the opening theme song of Sword Art Online Alicization - War of Underworld 2nd Season.
I used my usual power arrangement approach for this song - beginning with a straight-forward introduction of the TV size. After the first chorus, I played a softer variation of the verse starting at 1:28 using the "three-hand technique".
The bridge (2:41) is the "insane" part of this cover. It's one of the most difficult piano parts I've ever written: rapid two octave jumps, followed by a descending chromatic scale reminiscent of Chopin's Winter Wind etude. The quiet section after the bridge where the two hands play at the extreme opposite ends of the piano also produces an interesting effect.
