For some reason, I almost always see these images in reverse; as in, the shapes sink back into the screen, rather than standing out. Sometimes I can switch them.

What that means is that you are viewing the stereograms with cross-eyes. When you do so, it produces the opposite effect (everything is in reverse). This set of images is meant for parallel viewing. @@Eyetricks3DStereograms I'm trying to not cross my eyes because I know that doesn't work. It might be because I am short-sighted, so my vision is a little different. If I do the "nose-to-the-picture-draw-back-slowly" technique," I can usually see them in 3D.

@@chriswhite4531 They definitely do work when you cross your eyes, you'll just see the opposite effect. Try putting something up to your nose (between your eyes), like a book or your hand. This might be able to force your eyes to view parallel.

Also the images are "behind" the background, if that makes sense. When the 3D effect pops, it's like you're looking at an indentation stamped into it, as opposed to something floating in front of the background.

Ive never been able to see stereograms, ive tried the 'bring your phone close to your eyes then slowly pull it away' method and the 'focus on a far away object then move your phone Infront of where youre looking' method, but neither work, any advice?

Most of these had the imagery too complex to make out what the 3D shape was. I just saw hollow cut outs of whatever with a lot of frivolous drawings around and in them, or just kittens in holes.

Can you normally see 3D stereograms without issue? From what you are describing, I wonder if you are viewing these cross-eyed rather than parallel? The kittens should pop out when viewed parallel. They'll only go inward if you are viewing cross-eyed.

The part where U can try to sync multiple images at the same time is scary, u can do that by crossing eyes further apart but it hurts your head 😅

The fad screws up my eyes just switch don't fade so i don't need to reset my eyes for each image.
