First video of the year! So here's a more story-based animation of Puppet.
I started working on this back in august but now got the time to finish this~
Those who don't know, she is a subject in a laboratory where scientists experiment with combining dogs and humans.
Puppet has managed to escape the lab while still not perfectly finished with her transformation.
Linx (the purple-haired girl) and Rena (black-haired girl) were the last ones managing to escape. The escape was possible because the laboratory had lost a handful of their employees in an attack by Puppet as she escaped months earlier.
Now they've reunited again.

This could make a fairly interesting dark manga or anime, a goverment making super soldiers by combining people with animals and the "Failures" that escaped just trying to live the lives that were stolen from them. Also Puppet is cute, so yeh.

@@CosmicGlacier Because western cartoons are heavily limited in a way that anime rarely is, apart from "Adult cartoons" that generally only survive based on how shocking and grotesque they can be. It's less about the style and more about the freedom to tell the story the author wishes to tell that I want for a setting like this. Of course Hazbin Hotel so far has been a promising star for the future of western animations so... who knows.

Can we just talk about the attention to detail at 0:07 when the character is in the corner, she looks aggressive but her legs are shaking and her knees are buckling together with fear, she is only being aggressive because that is the only way she knows how to protect herself, I love this so much!

Major bonus-points to you for using something weird, obscure and even semi-humorous as your audio-source for an animation piece. I think maybe some parts of the dogs brain may have been used to compensate for the tail on them, since I dont know if a whole human brain could be able to use the tail or even move it for that matter. So maybe the dog is still living within puppets mind?

I have a mini theory : those experiences are made in the project of creating super soldiers, but the project still secret because of human rights stuff, and they stopped because the results wasn’t as useful as they thought : too much independence for a war machine

I’m sorry I can’t stop watching this. It’s such good animation for the song and feels like a young animators story. However. That story is really good. It leaves interest in the characters because of how they look and want, in wanting to know what happens next or what did happen. The characters styles suit perfectly to the song and the fact that you don’t show much of there full body clearly makes them feel like predators you only just get a glimpse off. I love it and I look forward to a next part. Good going hope you keep well.

I love this style of combining humans and animals! Lots of people just do tails and ears (from what I've seen) but I love it when their arms and legs are also animal too!
