You did this game justice my friend. This was the very first game that I spent literally a year playing without any substantial breaks. And I loved it! I have a great memory of pulling this out of the branches in my family's Christmas tree and then going on a trip to Virginia to see extended family. I packed my Gamecube and played this game late into the night in my Uncle's motocross trailer with my older brother. I never even beat it either but I loved the shit out of it and even did my 5th grade science fair using the in-game NES copy of Balloon Fight to increase people's heart rates. You're definitely right about Wild World not having the same magic, and I think that the handheld experience took away some of the magic for me. I had no idea about it being an N64 game! That's balls crazy! People don't understand the love that this game gets!

Holy shit! I love this comment! Animal Crossing has had some seriously funky real-world results, and I really love hearing about them. Something about being in two places at once - because really, our town was simply existent on another plane of reality, and our villager was a conduit - really felt magical. Thank you so so so much for your very kind feedback, I really mean it. Reading stuff like this is probably the sole reason I want to make more videos; opening up discussions about personal experiences really warms my heart. Thanks, once again. I hope you stick around to watch more!

PGunnii Definitely will, this is the first channel I've subbed to with email notifications. Your Crash video was great and I've never even played it. When I was playing in that motocross trailer I had the most insane migraine but I endured so that I could catch more bugs. Murphy the sassy green cub (I thought he was a dog my entire life until I just looked it up) holds a special place in my heart. Especially when he wears that pink heart leotard. I live life without regret but the one time I did a system connect with a friend, Murphy moved away. That's the closest I've ever gotten to feeling regret :V. I got my friend's bullshit eagle or something.

Man. You fucking rock. Like. No one ever talks about Animal Crossing, and how fantastic this game is. Thanks for giving it the love it truly deserves.

I can not express how much I agree. Animal crossing is just the kind of thing that you can only get the best experience by playing it. It's personal. Especially new leaf. It's your town. Your villagers. Your personal world. I've only ever played new leaf and it is by far one of the best games I have ever played. Great video. Loved it. All this talk though, and I just remembered my town's name is potaton.

This video legitimately welled up a large form of nostalgia in me, and your narration and emotional cadence gave it an extra punch. I think i'm going to have to watch the rest of your videos, and i gotta give props to an0nymooose for linking to you in one of his newest videos.

Wow. Truly amazed at how good the video was and how little views you get. This made me realize how much I miss this game. This was a huge staple to my childhood and I've completely forgotten it until now. Thanks for reintroducing me to Animal Crossing!

Really, really good video. The editing is top notch and it says all it needs to be said about this game in a fun and concise manner, no fluff or needless ramblings. And to think you don't have 100,000+ subscribers? This channel deserves it! Congrats from across the pond (Portugal)!

I love this game so much, and it is really nice to see someone get this games little quirks and comfy feel. I mean, just being in your small little wooden house, with K.K. D&B playing on your stereo is just wonderful. Also, for a new series, i'm already loving it. Can't wait to see the rest of these dude, you really nailed this. seriously though i love this and i love you, keep it up

Found your videos via favepunch, and it's so refreshing to see videos actually be excited about video games for a change. This video alone was so good, I actually went out and bought a 3ds and New Leaf after watching it. You reminded me why I fucking love animal crossing. Cheers mate.

Ah, Animal Crossing. For some reason I was obsessed with golden shovels... Yep, golden shovels and Bell trees. Nothing like having a basement literally FILLED TO THE BRIM with golden shovels. Golden shovels all over the floor, golden shovels filling up my cabinets and drawers, golden shovels on my custom designed "Golden Shovel Tee". Ahhh yes... Animal Crossing. I don't really know why I was obsessed with golden shovels, come to think of it...

+DONKIN' .DONUTS Hey dude, thanks so so much for your ridiculously kind comments. They meant so much to me personally that I've actually shown them to a few friends now. I wish I had more to respond with simply because such comments would only naturally illicit long responses - but I think your words really speak for themselves. I'm truly humbled to have fans such as you. Thanks for making my day multiple times.

Yeah, that music creates a pretty heavy feeling of nostalgia alright... I wish I had a 3ds to play new leaf, but Animal Crossing is the only Nintendo game I ever really got into, which doesn't really justify purchasing a new console. BTW, what was wrong with Wild World and City Folk? Maybe it's just that my memories of the original are hazy, but I don't remember any glaring flaws in Wild World (never played City Folk).
@Normal_Norman9 жыл бұрын
Noice. But seriously if we can learn anything from this is that sometimes production value doesn't matter as much if the game is filled with content that is unique. Far Cry 4 has a great base game but it's rinse and repeat from there.
