7pm never left me. Played NL on release in North America in 2013 as a kid, kept playing until New Horizons, now it’s been 2 years since New Horizons and 7pm still occupies a separate space in my brain.

7 AM is most familiar for me. It was when I used to get up for school :) 7 PM was what I used to call my “fishing song” because I was always fishing when it came on. I guess I ran on a schedule or something 😆

New Leaf's ost is the perfect Animal Crossing soundtrack. Each hourly theme actually fits for the hour that they're played in within the game itself. I don't know how they managed to mess that up with the New Horizons OST.

Not at all! I played New Leaf everyday for MONTHS when I was a kid, I played New Horizons for 3 weeks and forgot about it. I played NL for the soundtrack, it just hits different

No that's just what we call an opinion. Some people refuse to acknowledge this fact though. I do appreciate the music for New Horizons but the whole game in general is just a different kind of game. I mean back then we treated villagers like actual people, and now we discriminate them by their looks. It's kind of funny how much it's changed.

Yeah, I can't listen to 8AM without standing still? Why? Because I get emotional. So it's almost like I'm saying I can't be awake for certain hours or I'd cry. And 5PM is really getting attention. And I get why. Bossa Nova is the BOSSa Nova, you could say. The chord progressions are lovely!

Omg this hourly music is so much better than NH by a landslide. Ironically I think the NL would fit better for NH because of the choice of instruments (and it being better ofc.) I feel the steel drums, bongos and guitar specifically make the tracks feel a lot more “tropical”, which fits the island theme. If only we could listen to these hourly bops instead of “guitar with goofy synth melody that sounds like an echo of the main theme” crap.

Nous sommes en 2023, et quand je réécoute ces musique vraiment j’ai des images en tête, j’ai plein de souvenirs à l’époque où on jouait entre amis, je me rappelle de la dernière nuit blanche que j’ai faites sur ce jeu, malheureusement je ne pensais pas que ça serait la dernière fois que j’y jouerais, c’était en 2019. Ensuite avec le lycée puis maintenant la faculté je n’ai plus le temps d’y jouer, et puis même ce n’est plus la même ambiance il n’y a plus personne qui y joue… ça me rend presque triste de savoir que ce jeu part aux oubliettes, remplacé par ACNH alors que d’après moi c’est clairement ACNL le meilleur. Tout ceux qui préfèrent ACNH n’ont juste jamais jouer à a ACNL. J’ai limite envie que des personnes nostalgiques comme moi se réunissent pour qu’on remette le jeu ACNL à la mode pour qu’on puisse y rejouer comme à l’époque 😂 bref, je vais arrêter d’écouter ces musique sinon je vais chialer, ça me manque cette époque.
