Dude I loveeee this game *so* much. I used to play both this AND animal crossing religiously. I still play animal crossing like there's no tomorrow but sadly not this game bc they haven't released the second one in north america :/ but seriously this is such a great game, so unique and one of my childhood gems. love it

Guys, before the comments get clogged with complaints about Pikmin 2, I'm going to go ahead and vouch for PBG. It's possible they're taking a break to work on other games they want to play, or to read the feedback from previous Pikmin 2 videos. They also could have had another loss, and decided to quit while they could. Either way they have the right to, since it's their series.

No because the genre doesn't change the fact that it does almost so many things similar like you can in animal crossing. That being said, being a rip off doesn't make it bad. It's like the sequel we never had.

Liquid Kitten People are not calling it a rip-off just because it’s a similar genre. Professor Layton’s London Life is a similar genre but has it’s own look; this game is eerily similar. Just look at the animation style, the way the town looks, the non-human neighbors, the Animalese speech, and general vibe of the game. Now, that doesn’t mean it’s a bad game; I’m just saying that, visually, this game is extremely similar to Animal Crossing and I don’t think that’s a coincidence.

I remember I loved this game one summer. That is until school started and I couldn't get into the classes at the school and I couldn't get the classes to change when they start. Then I dropped it. But man, this brings back so many memories. The classes aren't all like this. Some of them are more mini games like. Sort of like in New Leaf with that Island with the tours. Although not that good. Keep Playing and you'll see what I mean.
