Oh man.. this method is not new actually. It’s been around for years, it just seems that it’s been changed up a bit, you know, this method is commonly known as, ( to me ) the ‘ go get the item from that specific person to get these ( rare items ) on my list ‘ scam, I am very sorry you had gotten scammed, I’ll see if I can get you a solid or two in the future to help get you back up. One time I had just logged into Ajc and this girl (a cougar with a lphd) shows up in my den and asked me if I had a soccer ball hat, I said no and she said that if I was able to get one she would give me her headdress for it. Unaware of the worth I immediately look it up on Wikipedia, much to my avial I find nothing about it's worth, and it seemed to be pretty unwanted, which puzzled me on why someone would want to give away a headdress worth around thirty soilds for something that's probably not even worth one, but yet again I could've been wrong so I thought nothing of it and went back into aj. Well after I log in, a find a non member bunny with a soccer ball hat on there trade list, and it was the same colors the cougar had wanted which I thought was pretty lucky, so i quickly jagged them and asked them what they wanted for it, but instead of replying they went to my den, and said they wanted a few spikes) dbs for it, and almost immediately went after the black long I was wearing saying how that, and some adds would be good for them. It threw me off..but I decided to play along, and agreed, the adds were some of my den beats I had set out in my den, and a pink long along with the black long, however, while we were talking I got a jag from the cougar asking me how I was doing trying to get the hat, which also threw me off and that's when I suddenly realized that the cougar was the non member bunny, and they were trying to scam me. I couldn't let this go,and decided to play along a bit more, only to get into the trade and cancelled last minute before locking the bunny out of my den and writing a jag to the cougar that said something like "lol nice try" and blocked both.

bro one of these ppls backups came to my den and i said yes when they asked if i had a disco light. i asked what it was worth and they said “idk it’s store bought so i’ll trade something else store bought.” then after that i asked where u could buy it and they said the hosted parties so i literally hosted one and bought some for that person 😭. they went “afk” and after they got logged out i jagged them saying that i got some and when they log back on i’ll give it to them. another new account did the same thing to me and i asked them questions bc i was skeptical, and i blocked them. a few days ago i saw someone saying they got scammed with a disco light. i’m so dumb bro 😭

When I saw Tøøz's username, I immediately clicked. They tried to do this to me literally a day ago! They told me they were offering a magenta furry for the disco light and said I could get it for a headdress. I didn't believe this because a few moments later, his alt account "Ackn0wledgements" traded me the disco light for my headdress. I was watching a stream during this, then later we raided their den and they felt no shame at all and were honest about it. They said they've gotten atleast 7 headdresses from this. And the reason they gave was because I seemed gullible. They need to be stopped.

The same scam happened to me before, but in ajpw, and I lost my exotic Snowflake penguin.... Someone said "this person has this item and I really want it, but they won't trade it to me! I'll trade forest and blackout for it, please someone get it for me!" Said item was actually a really bad item, but nobody really knew it existed, so I WAY overtraded for it and then they left. Then eventually I went to their den and saw one of them saying "did u get it?" And the other said "ya lol" ... :( so this scam is on both games and has been around for a long time, as this happened a while ago.

I saw my buddy get scammed by this but by like the older version where someone is looking to trade a lot for this random uncommon item that isnt worth much and magically this person comes along and has it for trade so they overtrade for it and get nothing. Dont mind me starting a chain, but here are two scamers to look out for: Shoppingbaskets and Alpuno. Shoppingbaskets scammed my black long with only half a trade and Alpuno normaly asks gift 4 gift, and in this case, never gifted me back because they "dont hv anythin the same worth as a wrist". Bruh they had like a magenta furry and everything. They also tried bating me into gifting better items but ik what was going on after i lost my wrist. Some people really are just greedy twats and it shows.

Curious, no offense, but showing offers via trade is just terrible... I can easily get why you'd get scammed if they say something you weren't aware of was worth a lot, but Im here to ask for clarification about HOW they got your items. Yeah you couldnt fit 20 items into your trade list but AJ's trade system makes it so that when another person accepts a trade, it notifies you and you have the option to cancel that trade. How'd you get your items taken?
