So fun story: Those graphics used to be unique to the mobile version: Animal Jam Play Wild. The PC version was completely 2D. I have vivid memories of this game considering I started like 6 years ago and quit like 4 years ago.

@@kimmy1325 It was called Feral, but unfortunately it only lasted like a year. I don't really know the entire story, but I guess the devs abandoned it for Cinder (which is entirely hinged on NFTs). A lot of people weren't super pleased with it because it was buggy and it was never updated, but I thought it was a lot of fun and was sad to see it go :-/

The reason your probably locked out is because a few years ago they had a data breach and had to change everyone's passwords. The only way to get into the account is too request a password change, but you cant do that if you no longer remember your old email login like me :,)

I used to be obsessed with this game since 2017 i think, it was fun and addictive but i slowly lost interest in it and the tension with the whole wildworks drama thing drove me away from it. I quit the game last june-july and gave my account to a random person i follow, honestly one of the best thing i did since it felt like i got an unknown tumor remove. All in all, good game if you avoid the community entirely

@@user-me3ge8de4o Not sure what they are refrencing, but I think they mean Feral. Wildworks made a game called Fer.al. It essentially was like animal jam but for older kids without restrictions. Everything was going alright, except like no updates to the game were made, and eventually Wildworks stated the game was being made for NFT's which obviously pissed everyone off. In the TOS, they said that they can take your character you made in game and turn it into a playable NFT for someone to buy without your consent, as you "consented" when you clicked the check box on the TOS. Now, the game didn't go to plan. Nobody really bought the NFT's and they shut Fer.al down. People spent a lot of money on the game with game passes and new animals, but Wildworks just turned their backs on the players. There is A LOT more to the story but that is the jist of it. I played Feral. It was actually kind of fun. Crazy good character customization unlike the other AJ games and people could say whatever without chat bans. The whole idea of the game at the start was amazing. It was a unique game. But I stopped when I realized the only updates were pay to win game passes and pay to use animals. I didn't have spendable money at the time, I had to save it for my pets, but I'll never forget the joy the game brought. I remember when they shut it down. They gave everyone I think a few hours on a specified date to log on and say their goodbyes to the game. People were destroying their animal's looks to try and stop their animals from becoming NFT's. It was chaos... and in the end, the website, game and discord are gone.

is that literally the *game is aimed at a child audience* (although currently there are *adults* who also play it, I don't blame them because seriously that game is very addictive) and in my honest opinion *the Animal Jam chat is a horror since there are many words that are censored despite the fact that they are not rude or that they are not with bad intentions * (although I also say because on the server in Spanish it is the same, the same case only a little more complicated) and if the end literally *they suspended you but don't worry it's just like a punishment that lasts 24 hours* and I say because it's already happened to me more than once although in some it wasn't on purpose and that's why AJ took it literally, no matter what you've done claimed and explained what happened, they don't even give you an answer * (or at least not much for those from other servers/languages) * anyway, I recommend that if you continue playing AJ for fun, it's better that you take good care of your vocabulary true from experience because the fucking *AJ is very delicate* XD and I still like to see you known through this game greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽 :D And thanks for reading to those who bothered to read this long comment x,D 👍

animal jam player here; i'm gonna answer your questions (or give advice) -ajpw isn't exactly a kids game, i mean it is technically but more kids ages 9-15 play it. the older kids usually make content which is why they really stick to the game (for example, leamon puppy has 21k subscribers and mostly makes animal jam content, but recently graduated high school). -the chat is wrong about temple of trivia. actual people play in that game, unlike jamaa derby or falling phantoms. to test that out for yourself, you can have 2 accounts and join at the same time. you can also do this with best dressed. -the fox is the best starter animal to pick since it gives you access to the fox lair, which is one of the most popular trading places in this game. but tbh, it doesn't matter, you can always buy the starter animals for gems (gems aren't hard to get). -it's against the rules to share social information, so you can't say youtube, discord, instagram, twitter, tiktok, and of course, twitch. makes sense though, considering this game is designed for children. -you can't say moron either; i know this video is all a big joke but i think it should be common sense that they wouldn't allow that. -you can lock your den in the settings menu at the top right or by going in to den decorating mode and clicking the lock button at the top right aswell. -here's another "you can't say" type thing; you can't say heck because it might be offensive to some people. and it also sounds like hell which is a HUGE no no -fun fact! you used to not be able to say bruh. good thing you got into this game after november of 2020! -falling phantoms is very good 100% recommend -this game isn't that bad of an influence for kids; to be honest, without this game i wouldn't know that there are only 4 species of lynx. -the dog isn't all that expensive. the fire wings are located in epic wonders and they're free, but the german shepherd isn't. they're also not available in the sapphire shop anymore so too bad if you didn't get one. -the alpha's are the protectors of jamaa, so i guess technically you could call them gods. -phantoms are actually our enemy. the jammer version of halloween is night of the phantoms (probably my favorite time of year in animal jam tbh). -"this place is way more bigger on the inside than the outside" it used to be the opposite. they only updated the sapphire shop in 2021, so back then it was a literal line with little buttons to press so you can buy items. -there are at least like 80 animals. i can't keep track at this point, but all i know is that i have over 70 animals in total. i'm rich -little trivia for you guys still reading this: the tea party used to have confetti which was really funny imo because it didn't match at all with the calm pillow room music. this will be on the pop quiz so make sure to take notes -and finally: don't try to say asshole. i think you know why :) thanks for listening to my tedtalk!!

most of my childhood was playing animal jam (classic), i have spent way to much money on this game if i’m being honest, i cried a lot over/from this game, maybe spent a little to much time on it but at least i had a lot of great memories from it 🤷 i played a little bit of animal jam play wild but i always preferred animal jam classic tho they are both great games. it’s always nice seeing people play your childhood games tbh
