+paul richards *Yes, the inspectors all look well fed with the animals that they are supposed to be protecting from being sent to the hell hole called a slaughterhouse. "For All Creatures Great and Small" - so they would have you believe through their false advertisement. In reality the RSPCA is run by a bunch of hypocrites from vets to inspectors protecting the 2% of pet animals that profits them financially while neglecting the 98% of brutal mutilations inside slaughterhouses (without anaesthetics of course). Never bring an injured animal that is not a cat or a dog into their care because they will not bother to fix them since there's no financial gains for them. They have paying customers waiting in line already. So they'll simply kill your rescued animal instead of fixing them even when that animal could be saved. If you really want to save the injured animal, take it to a local vet and ask for a prognosis and if the pronosis is good, you pay for the life saving vet bill. This way you could really save an jured animal that is neither a cat or dog.*

Desexing decreases risk of diseases such as feline aids or prostate cancer, and it stops the animals from being able to reproduce which is good because there are so many animals in the world already and if a pet gets unexpectedly pregnant, the owner will probably put the babies down if they don't sell or if they can't take care of them. And before you say"but you are depriving them of sex!" desexing gets rid of their balls which produce sperm which is needed to reproduce, so animals can still have sex, they just won't have babies. And they are not persicuting animals lovers, only the ones who couldn't provide enough food or a safe home to keep the pets. It is safer for the animals to be taken away if it is being abused and underfed so hopefully someone might rehome it. So don't talk about something you don't know much about, and don't speak out of a bias because your information is just twisted.

***** where are you getting this research from? because at the moment there are lots of people trying to claim things are true so they can have a controversial article to put out there. I am not saying it is definately not true, but you don't know if this is the entire story. And there even human men who get their balls off when they are old. It is much less common, but some do it to prevent certain diseases after they have had children and don't plan on having any more. and also, it is better for the animals not to have an unexpected pregnancy because this wouldn't secure a safe or able home to raise puppies or kittens, and alot of the time they unfortunately don't get sold and if the owner chooses to keep them, it is often hard to support them and keep them well fed and healthy.

yeah thats all they care about is the money, should not trust the rspca they are awful, my dad made me give my dog and said have to give him to the rspca, i wouldnt give him up without a fight but when i had to i trusted them with him and so he could go to a good and loving home and i got promised he would get put down and a month later i found out they put him down, he was such a beautiful and good temperd dog, i dont know how they could do it, miss him so much :(

The bastard inspector didn't even knock when he came here...he STOLE my assistance dog and then prosecuted me for starving my pet dog. My barrister did a complete backflip and got me an animal ban for 5 years and a conviction, meaning I'm unable to even volunteer at a REAL shelter to clean dog poo out of kennels.
