BS section, it was so stressful that it made me make a break from playing. The best route imo is with the short cut in the hub room... This way was impossible for me.

@@retrobutiongames202 You have to complete a bubble sequence where you cannot touch the floor while moving across multiple screens, navigating left, up, right, etc., all while being chased by four dogs intent on popping your bubbles. The moment you touch the floor you can start all over again.

You can play the ocarina of teleportation and go in to the bear mouth . You will skip like 90% of the BS.

Omg I was trying to do it with the animal mouth teleporting I went into the bird in the egg place and then exit out the dog. It buys you more time

This is exactly how I did, wait in the fast travel hub for the cat to arrive and then teleport back to do the last 4 screens while skipping all of the dog bits

an interesting graphical bug I noticed at 1:42 is when you opened your items menu while going into the next screen, it copied the mist from the ghosts

What is the end goal? How does the game communicate what you're trying to do with the disc or lure the dog? I'm not sure how the game tells you what the end goal is.

The game doesn't tell you. That's part of the fun. I just don't get why it would be fun if the game tells you what to do or how to solve. It's a puzzle game remember.

@@ChaosNLD you misunderstood. I was asking if the game communicates the end goal upon your first encounter with the dog/disc, or if you need to continue the game and skip it initially. In other words, you cannot end the dog chase without further progressing the game to discover the end goal, which means not activating the dog chase to begin with.

@@ChaosNLD Gosh, you still don't understand my question. I'll try a third time. I thought I missed something the game was communicating upon the FIRST encounter with the disc and the dog chase. When, in fact, that information is not revealed at the exact moment the dog chase begins. The puzzle element here in a unique one: you have to willfully choose to not initiate the dog chase sequence at all, with the hope that the necessary information is revealed later in the game. So, my question to the KZbin community was "did I miss obvious information as soon as I initiated the chase sequence?" which is a question that caught your attention, but ultimately one you misunderstood. The answer I needed that you never provided was, "No, you didn't miss anything at all."

@@mistifowl5893 Yeah, I'm playing it at 30 constantly hahaha. Everything is in slomo, even the blob jumping. But I already completed Layer 1 a few days ago. The only thing that is hard in this game is the endgame content. Has many layers of secrets that are not easy to complete without a guide. I just don't have the time to explore everything. And I'm currently at 62 eggs, looking for the last 2. And 4 rabbits out of 16. I haven't reached the tiles yet.

How do u bubble jump like that? When I try to make a bubble and jump on it, it’s useless. Absolutely useless yet alone fast jumping and bubbles popping exactly where u need them

Practice rolling your thumb across the bubble and jump buttons. This will create a bubble for you to jump on when the one you're standing on disappears when you jump. It's tricky at first but becomes second nature pretty quickly. One of the best ways to get around.

You're meant to return to the chase later when you can make it to the M. Disc Shrine. This is best aided with several items. Bubble Wand is your best friend early on anyway. If you haven't gotten it already, venture SW to the area to get it

@@ggggh8047 Thanks for the help, but I don't understand how this is acceptable design. When I run into this puzzle I have no indication I wouldn't be able to solve it. After all I can outrun the dog for a good while to the other side of the map. Some puzzles are far more confined, making it "obvious" they can't be solved yet (the ones requiring the slinky for example). This one doesn't at.all.

@@ThefamousMrcroissant every boss puzzle requires at least 1 item from a different area to be solved with the intended solution, but the game also has a load of movement tricks that can allow you to do many things out of order. There are a ton of ways to get the disc up to the shrine, including never swapping the Mock Disc for the frisbee to begin with so that the ghost never chases you.
