They are in my pond right now. They sound so beautiful and they are such large birds especially compared to the Canadian goose. Love when they visit.

My special needs son really likes trumpeter swans he first heard about them from a movie about them called Trumpet 🎺 Of The Swan 🦢 and has been fond of them ever since. He's also glad they're making a comeback and hopes and prays 🙏 things get better and better for them.

Today, I saw a flock of 52 swans on the St. Croix River at Hudson, WI. Two of them came to check me out on the ice. I felt honored. 01/03/21

Lovely birds! They winter near us. Sometimes when I’m driving I see them fly over with their big black feet tucked up flat. Always impressive! Wow, I didn’t know they weigh about 25 lbs!

Yeah I think we've improved a lot on this since we first began. This is a much older video before we had much practice with recording and voiceover. Have to start somewhere 😸

Beautiful birds! Although their conservation story is very successful, we still have a lot of work to do. It’s unfortunate that the invasive Mute Swans are one of the many barriers we have to get through, driving native fowl like the Trumpeter Swans away due to their aggressive nature and voracious appetites leading to habitat loss for our native fowl, fish, and other marsh dwelling organisms. Great video!

Nobody should be killing any swans, or birds for that matter. The same a s s h o l e s you'll see buying steak their first night home after hunting.. It's Disgusting. Unless you actually sustain your family with your meat only...
