Dude I envy you so much lmao. The absolute dream. I used to play a lot of shows in the 2010's (as a Bay Area session bassist for mostly local singer-songwriters spanning many genres, everything from Metal, to Pop, to Hip-Hop) and the biggest acts I opened for was for Shwayze and Collie Buddz, lol. My only claim to fame lol. Don't get me wrong, it is fun playing with Billboard 100 artists but I would trade it all in for Animals as Leaders in a HEARTBEAT.

I love that simple melodic line at the end amidst the chaos. Beautifully written!

I doubt i will ever love a song as much as this one. Just has everything a song needs. Makes me cry. Love you AAL!

I heard this song few years ago in the "even music bores me" stage, and it always gives me inspiration. I thought then that I would not find anything interesting... "On Impulse" was like waking up from lethargy. True awakening. Next song - CAFO. My favourite - Inamorata, a masterpiece.

ok...so i just got into this band a few weeks ago...my friend showed me CAFO...Tosin became my new hero...and i aspire to play like him...and in those few weeks iv been into this band/artist...i have gotten so much better at guitar...im endlessly racking my brain to its extremes to create the kind of sound that this band makes...its just so raw and perfect...Tosin...if you read this...im gonna shake your hand some day and look at you as an equal

This one song.. this individual melt of personalit(ies) is a missed gem. Dont think we miss the beauty. Real is still alive. Disoriented, but looking for a home base. One Love

The way that first section grabs you and refuses to let go, just elaborating with strings. My brain is estimulated and my emotions completely overwhelmed by that first minute. Masterpiece

tosin abasi, lenny breau, and carlos montoya. Nobody will beat them. on a side note I have always wanted to tell tosin abasi that carlos montoya was using the thumb technique he used in an infinite regression before victor wooten whom he thought pioneered it. Not trying to rub it in his face, I just want him to be inspired by carlos montoya which I know he would be. comparing tosin abasi with carlos montoya is like comparing people playing 2 different instruments... although they both play guitar. This is only brought up because of the thumb technique. Family friend lenny breau may be better than the both of them although it would be like comparing a third instruments yet he plays guitar too!

Tosin loves or would love a challenge I bet. Testing his 8 string line of wonders could do nothing but draw love. Get to destroying theories yall! We got music to build

That's why they play 8 string guitars. They're playing melody, lead, and bass all at the same time.

Sounds a bit like a "Mini-Racecar". Or Racecar is a "Super-On Impulse" xD
