10:00 Thing about hair loss is that it's from a faulty gene in the X chromosome, which means that whether a male will have hair loss is entirely up to his mother's genes. Females tend to not have hair loss because they have two copies of the gene so if one is faulty the body will use the backup gene from the other X chromosome, if both are faulty then you have female balding. So if you're male and want to know your odds of having balding, look at your mother's father since it was a 50/50 shot you got his X chromosome. If her mother also had hair loss, then I'm sorry, my brother, you're looking at a near 100% chance you're gonna go too.
