I remember when my mom and I took care of an injured bird found in our yard. The mother was standing around the chick, and it took some effort to bring it to the terrace away from her where we fed it and kept it safe from the neighbor's cat for at least a week. Mama bird would be right by until its injured leg healed and we released it back into the yard. That bird never left our yard as long as it lived, making sure to come back almost daily to thank us.

Tears are running down my face from watching these beautiful animals show how much LOVE they are capable of giving. I'm so sorry to all the animals we abuse and neglect. I have a 17 year old cat that is everything to me. My suffering will be great but the memories of her will sustain me when she passes. @Yoloa888 As - people have to remember these animals were raised from infancy by those folks. This loving bond behavior is not natural, it’s a trained behavior. I’ve seen people approach black bear in the wild thinking they’re cuddly and want to hug. It is dangerous.

I lost my best friend a year ago He was a Boxer and Poodle mix, commonly known as a Boxerdoodle. He blessed me with his love for 8 and a half years until he had kidney failure. During that eight years, the best part of my day was when I got home from work. There was never a day when he wasn't sitting at the front door waiting for me to come inside. Once I got in, he was all over me!!! Jumping, barking, licking all over my face....his love for me was immeasuerable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still crying.............
