I know this is nothing like any of the rescues mentioned in the clip, however many years ago I was driving along a busy road & I noticed a baby rabbit, in the middle of the road. The animal was petrified as the cars were driving past. I stopped my car, put on the hazard warning lights, got out of my car & stopped the on coming traffic. It took me about 5-10 minutes to get the rabbit to safety. I simply ignored the honking horns ensuring that the rabbit was safely under a hedge before getting back into my car. The drivers closest to the incident, gave a a thumbs up before driving away. I felt good that day & it is something I will not forget!

The happiest Christmas I ever had was in 2005 when my friend found a lost puppy. The next morning I drove around the neighborhood where he was found. I saw a poster for him in a park. It was Christmas Eve and I called the phone number listed. It turned out the puppy belonged to a little boy. I was so thankful I was allowed to make his Christmas a happy one.

This video reminds me of a story I heard of once. It takes place in siberia, a local vet went to leave his house one day but couldn't and after escaping through a window, he went around front to find out what was keeping his door jammed. It was a Tiger lying on his front stoop. A tiger with chicken wire wrapped around it's neck. The animal somehow properly deduced that this man was able to help it and allowed itself to be corralled in an outdoor shed while the man worked on removing the chicken wire and dressing it;s neck wounds. Eventually after about a week, the tiger disappeared. A few days later, the man's front door was blocked again, so again he climbed out a window to see what was blocking his door. It was the carcass of a deer, laying there on his front stoop, with Tiger tracks in the snow. Apparently the Tiger also knew that assistance requires compensation.

Hello. I have something important to tell you The bible makes it clear that God is holy. This holy God holds a perfect moral standard. Sadly, we have all fallen very short of that standard(Romans 3:23). The penalty for sin/imperfection is Hell(Revelation 21:8). Thankfully the bible also says that God is rich in mercy and grace. That is why He sent His perfect Son to die on a cross to save us from our sin. You and I broke God's law, but Jesus paid our fine. Then Jesus rose from the dead, 3 days later, thus defeating death! (John 3:16-18) "He that believeth in the Son hath everlasting life; and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.” John 3:36 "But God commendeth His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10

I wonder how many of these rescuers going to heaven have partaken of flesh carved from a conscious animal hanging from a chain because of thousands of botched stunning procedures happening every day in thousands of slaughterhouses? Or flesh from animals scalded alive in boiling water to loosen their skin (which only happens 1% or 2% of the time, but when millions EVERY MINUTE get slaughtered in those places around the world, that's thousands a day ... and yes it happens all the time in industrialized countries). I wonder if people who knowingly support the cruel, hellish practices of the meat industry by buying their products are still eligible for heaven?🤔

Years ago I lived in San Jose California and had a pack of feral cats in the woods out back. One had a flea collar he tried to step out of so the band went under his leg instead of around his neck. He stayed like that for months until the skin nearly grew around it. The first time I saw him he walked up to me and allowed me to cut it off gently. He went back in the woods and I never saw him again. He'll always make me smile though, he knew who to come to! I love cats!!

I just want to remind everybody watching this that it's important to take as many precautions as necessary when/if you ever see a situation like this out in the open. Most wildlife preservationists will actually recommend you avoid interacting with wild animals, especially if they are endangered (and even more so if they have a high market for their remains, like elephants) because that teaches them that interacting with humans can lead to trusting people that shouldn't be trusted. It's typically only recommended to do so if the animal's life is at stake, like in many of the clips shown in this video.

However, people who show empathy are statistically more prevalent than those who are not. It is part of human evolution to be social creatures. It is just that the people with the most power, money and influence (due to the way our society is built) gravitate towards the socio and psychopathic spectrum.

This is great…but I have only one critique. I’m studying to become a marine mammal veterinarian (dolphins, whales, sea lions) and when dolphins strand, something is very wrong. Typically this is brought on from infection, starvation or a physical injury. The best thing to do is to *not* push the dolphin back, but to grab buckets/towels and cover the dolphin from the sun and keep it wet that way. Then call a local marine mammal rescue group (in the US every coastal state has one!) and they can give you the next steps and come help. It’s relatively rare for a dolphin to come ashore alive, so the right steps have to happen for that dolphin to have a chance of survival.

@Julie "A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel." Proverbs 12:10 🥸 "He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed." "The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good." "For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings." "Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding." "Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered." "The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked." Note: There're many wicked souls suffering in pain inside, but are invisible to the outside eye.

9:56 - Fox babies aren’t called cubs they’re called kits. Just like Cougar babies, they aren’t called cubs they are called kittens.

It's amazing how people will help an animal before they will help each other.

that's because you can expect an animal to act like an animal, but you can't expect people to act like decent human beings
