Too bad he can't pronounce the names of these animals right! Oh, and new teeth on Helicoprion did not form from the rear of the jaw. As we can plainly see the teeth at the rear of its lower jaw are the largest and therefor would be the oldest. New teeth started at the center of the tooth whorl, and they didn't literally rotate or spin inside it's lower jaw like a circular saw blade as the little animation suggests. Instead as the lower jaw closed on a prey item it's teeth would successionally make contact against the prey with individual teeth each cutting into it.

For one, you aren't qualified to raise speculation. You didn't spend 12 years after high school to get a degree in Paleontology so any questions you might have aren't worth shit. Paleontologists spend decades, multiple decades making EDUCATED guesses. Not guesses. conjecture based on the current information. Point two, the paleontological community is always making new discoveries, so information gets updated when new findings are made, but again, you aren't qualified to ask questions because you haven't studied for it.

Yeah the Helicoprion’s jaws were actually real and they were fucking nightmare fuel, when it closed its mouth it’s jaw muscles would contract making it spin back into its mouth and basically slice whatever it was trying to eat in half and that’s how it hunted (at least that’s the most widely accepted theory now)
