I have had to bury 9 horses and they are all on this property. It absolutely crushes you when that day comes. Mine were all rescues and youngish when I got them. Some I knew as 3 year olds and all made it to late 20s. Some were easy to train and some were more work but they all were good for laughs and hacking. One went psycho if she saw a bike. I rode out to feed twice a day on a bike and she got over it. So carry on girls and boys, it's good for their souls and yours too. Don't sell to the meatman and when your day comes they will meet you at that famous Bridge. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I love horses so much. There was this horse at my riding school in this long strip of fenced in land and when you ran he’d race with you. He always won. He was a beautiful Palomino. Then there was my favorite, Rex, a big bay, who had a wicked sense of humor, and he was also sympathetic. I’m short so it’s hard to mount a huge horse so Rex would stand quietly and wait. Anyone else he never stood still for them. When he wanted me to pet him he’d bump me nearly off my feet. I’d pet him like he liked and if it was winter he’d smash flat one of my buttons with his teeth but never pulled a button off and he’d lift his lip and show his teeth like he was laughing at me. Or he’d step on a booted foot and only would move if I politely asked. Ah Rex, I loved you so many decades ago.

My daughter got a miniature pony. The first morning they looked out the window to see all the other horses out on the lawn eating grass. The pony rolls under the barbed wire and opens the gate! They had to change the way they tied the gate.

Funny the very smart horse trying to open gate on electric fence. I used to have Appy stallion, he'd open gates or untie himself. In his paddock, he pooped in a single pile. After about a year, there was a good little mound. 🙂 🐎

My back is stiff and sore and both knees are acting up and I wouldn't change it for the world. I know a lot of women my age who can't believe I still ride when I get a loaner horse and somewhere to ride. I'm 78 and I love the farm life. Never get down as long as I can get up. This is one of the few animal (mostly horses) funniest videos I’ve seen in awhile. They were hilarious. The one black horse where guy has bib pants on is taking the horse for a walk is unbelievable. He’s huge. The horse that looks like it just took sniffed or whatever & then goes crazy is good like it was real stuff.
