I dont own a dog but i feed strays from time to time, but i dont feed them scraps like alot of ppl do, i actually go to walmart n buy dog food n keep it stored for when i notice a stray in the Neighborhood, now that i kno they can safely consume fruits i will feed them that too...i always have pears n bananas in my house but i never fed the strays this because i didnt think it was good for dogs, but now i know, thanks!!

*IMPORTANT* You really need to remove this video and redo it with critical clarification. You show dogs eating watermelon, apples and pears with the SEEDS. Seeds MUST BE REMOVED !! The greatest risk is CYANIDE poisoning (apple seeds) as well as intestinal blockages. You do mention removing seeds very briefly later in the video but the video shows dogs eating both watermelon with seeds as well as whole apples and pears. This gives most the impression that they are not harmful. Please address this issue as it is very irresponsible as presented.

Apples are good for dogs. I prefer gala apples . they're light, crisp and not too sweet. I peel the skin and cut out the core. Make sure there's no seeds because they are toxic. Same thing with watermelon, always remove the seeds before feeding watermelon to your dog.

🌟My dog vomits on pears... just the slices .... it is said to peel it or cook it first. So, can dogs eat raw pears? The short answer is no. Dogs should not eat raw pears. Pears contain a sugar called sorbitol which can cause diarrhea and vomiting in dogs. The skin and seeds of pears also contain toxins that can be harmful to your dog. If your dog does eat a raw pear, be sure to monitor them closely for any signs of illness and contact your veterinarian if you have any concerns. note they can throw up 12 hours later. Not always the same day.
