Animaniacs Intro, Fruity Loops Style!

mp3 download available! Having recently discovered FL Studio, I decided to try out the piano roll feature by creating a rendition of the Animaniacs theme song. Unfortunately, I was using the demo version of FL Studio, so I couldn't save the project. cries But at least I got some video and audio for you all. :) It took me roughly 8 hours to create, because I did this all by ear, but I had a lot of fun making it. Cool. So now there are three piano-roll style arrangements -- mine, the real QRS piano roll by George Bogatko (clearly the best), and yours. It is such a great theme, isn't it! If by "chromatics" an earlier commenter meant the xylophone runs, they're not really chromatic. I have them in my version (tip: slow the original recording down 4x). In a couple weeks I hope to be able to record my MIDI file being played by a real piano with a PianoDisc system.

Thanks for the comment! Constructive criticism is always very appreciated. :) That is a good suggestion though, and once I get some spare time, I think I'll give that a try! If it sounds cool, I'll make another mp3 and upload it to mediafire as the "updated version". :P

@aeden101079 Actually, this was a practice in transcription, so believe it or not, I didn't use a midi file. If you took a midi file and my transcription and put them side by side, I'm sure you'd be able to spot differences between the two. :) Besides, I'm sure you've transcribed music before for your stuff, right? Midi files have their place in music and all, but I personally think it's more fun to transcribe the music! ;)
