I think what was happening was Isagi was treating his spatial awareness/ meta vision like an absolute weapon to make super plays like Loki’s speed and Nagi’s trap. He got too confident in his weapons.

There must be some genius/prodigy hybrids. I’m mainly talking about Barou and Rin. Barou’s physicality and Rin’s perfect shooting accuracy give them a good case for genius. However, Barou’s villainous soccer and Rin’s destroyer mode should also make them prodigies.

For me Barou is a prodigy alone and Rin a genius alone Rin since birth had this inner anomaly of a monster, but it was hidden from the beginning to the u20 match when we got a glimpse of it Before that, all of his "Marionetist Football" and perfect curved shots were lied created by his trauma from leaving his brother, it was a way to stay in control of his life and the field, he was a false prodigy but after he revealed his true nature ro embrace chaos = the antithesis of isagi, a prodigy who controls the field by his vision That's also why before Rin's awaken glimpse, his style seemed to be Isagi's style at an higher level, but finally Isagi surpassed him in this domain, it's really interesting Barou trained since childhood to achieve his physique, and he gains abilities like Isagi or Kaiser, he s very similar to them, like the way he gained suddenly his dribbling skills after isagi devoured him or his predator eye/shot

I like the idea of Kaiser and Isagi forming a super duo since in the future they're pretty guaranteed to be opponents with each other. I don't see it happening though, since Ego pretty much summarized that geniuses need talented learners. I am super curious though on what Isagi must do, as I thought he'd be forced to gain something 'original' or with originality, but it seems there's a different route for talented learners that we'll get to discover here.

So I say, please Ness- 🪄 It'd be funny if Kaiser were to try to go back to Ness, only for Isagi to steal him before he can Kaiser told Ness "I no longer need the freedom you've given me.", and from Isagi's reaction to Kaiser mentioning "restriction", it seems like he was in range to hear everything. Isagi could find a puzzle piece that only Ness can help with or something? If Isagi wants the freedom to act on something he's discovered, instead of Hiori, he could use Ness and with that he'd be taking away the one most certain to try and help Kaiser score. Though that doesn't mean Isagi has to score, Ness could always change his mind and maybe score for himself 🪄

I believe the conclusion to this character arc will be the realization that even Noa himself is a talented learner and not a genius. Aside from his strong body (That could also be a result of training) and his ambidexterity Noa mainly uses strategy to score. And we have also seen kunigami and isagi learning to use their left foot in a pretty short time so why couldnt noa have done the same in his long football career.

Talented learners use that innovation for themselves making it more replicative, or countering it. They reach the same conclusion, but evolve differently.
