I use too little frames, I personally like 21-24 fps when animating and recently while playing a old animation back i realised it was too fast.

I'm new to this type of animation. I like the how you draw your 1st frame and then a second frame with a dramatic movement. And then go back to draw more detailed frames in between. But how do you see both the 1st and 3rd frames on frame #2? I only see my previous frame when I go to the next one. Am I doing something wrong? Help
