Het Scott, once again you solved another problem for me. I installed a new graphics card then went to change the image on my lower third and not only could I not do it but couldn't put the original image up either, had no idea image had to be in the OBS lower third folder. I used Jpeg for my logo and it worked, fine. I just put it in the logos folder. I would honestly like to know if you can have more than one, popping up on different sides of the obs screen.

The solution: Do not put the Animated-Lower-Thirds in your c: drive or other where the program is, it may be protected, put the folder on your desktop or documents, then set up and try, it worked for me.

Hey Scott, not seeing this anywhere else so I figured I’d ask you, the master! When trying to add NUMBERS in the lower third text field it automatically clears out and erases. Ever seen that glitch before? It’s weird.

Scott, a big shout out "Thank You" demystify lower third features. LT appearing on the right hand side is exact I've been looking for. Is there way to add more styles to how LT appears? For example, instead of "glide in" transition (you know , the way that a LT to appear on screen), "fade in" between 2 LT transitions. Is it possible? TIA. P.S. I love your OBS content videos. Hey Megan! Thanks for the super cool comment. I think the animations are powered by CSS. I'll have to dig into it but I have to warn you that I'm at capacity right now with the channel. Previously I thought it was because of the lau error script issues but I believe it was resolved with the second step you suggested as error message was no more showing up in my script log but my lower third is still not showing up! I've uploaded my logo successfully and added both texts, observed issues with timing as you suggested but it's never showed up for the first time. Please I need your help! I downloaded 1.6 version of the plugin.

@@ScottFichter Actually I figured out what it was. I downloaded an older version without the correct control-panel file. I went back to the forum, searched for the newest and reinstalled everything. It works perfectly now. The updated file has the hotkeys file as well, the previous zip I had downloaded did not have the file. Thanks so much for the reponse!

I'm not sure. I just reached out to NoeAl (developer) about the issue. Make sure OBS is up to date. You're not the only person who has commented about this. Consider posting a link to a log file from your OBS.

The problem is a folder permissions issue set by your computer. It's blocking access to the images. This thread will help you. So you have multiple cameras plugged into the ATEM and the outputs from the ATEM are going in to the computer via USB. You have setup a source for the inbound video.

I had problems with displaying logos a while back. Turned out I had to put the .png file in the specific “logos” folder used by lower thirds. Otherwise it would not work.

you have to put your images inside the logos folder (e.g.: D:\OBS\Lower Thirds\logos) otherwise you will not be able to see your logos/images correct. I don't know if there are some size limitations, however I think that is a good idea to have medium size file instead of large size file. Hope this will help and solve your issue.

Everytime I open my OBS the lower 3rd seems to change size and or location. Is there a fix for this?

I've tried to recreate the issue on my end and I can't. The only suggestion I have is to #1 click the plus sign for main settings #2 Click "Show More" #3 Click system #4 Click export #5 save this data to a text file. When you open OBS go back in there and click "Import" find the text file ---> BOOM that should get back to all the original settings.

Hey Scott. I moved and just reset up my system. My lower thirds disappeared. When I open OBS I get a second error window that tells me "[lower-thirds_hotkeys.lua] Error calling script_load: ...mated-Lower-Thirds/lower thirds/lower-thirds_hotkeys.lua:436: C:/Program Files/obs-studio/Animated-Lower-Thirds/lower thirds/../common/js/hotkeys.js: Permission denied". Any thoughts on how to correct this?
