Indian Civilization is one of the most ancient civilizations in this world. There were several covenants between man and GOD. Ideas spread based on the power of their message. Buddhism spread because it has a powerful message and if it wasn't persecuted and taken out of India, Hinduism would have been wiped off. Islam spread because of its powerful and simple message.Kings ruling over Muslims accepted Islam rather than converting them to their own religions. Christianity has a powerful and similar message like Islam, which although got complicated with time,but still more convincing than pagan religions. Judaism never spread even it has a similar message like Islam and Christianity because it was turned into am exclusive religion for Jews only. Hinduism did spread from Indus valley to throughout the indian subcontinent and was spreading far east as well ,but then Budha came to the scene and it lost it all to Buddhism.Hindusm couldn't spread to west towards Persia because Persian had Zoroastrianism which was intelectually in direct competition with Hinduism or even better. It is a myth that Hinduism was not forced or Hindus did not fought or took over other lands. All ideas spread through psyhcial and intellectual power, but for it's sustinence,it only needs the intellectual power.

Thank you very much for making this video, I use it every year in my World History class to introduce the World Religions unit. One ask: could you edit the graphic so that the starting point to measure time starts at year 1 and not zero please? We do an introductory lesson on the timeline the first week of class that explains to the students that there is no year zero- the birth of Christ is the event that is used to measure time- labeled as A.D. 1 or 1 C.E. but there is no year zero. Thank you!!

The issue at hand is sin and God’s nature of being just. Sin brings suffering (the pleasure is short term, and the suffering is long term-on earth and in hell forever). God brings Righteousness (may have short term suffering followed by long term pleasure- on earth and in Heaven). If you love yourself repent of your sins (lying, hatred, unforgiveness, sexual sins, taking the Lord’s Name in vain, stealing, dishonouring your parents etc) & believe in Jesus for forgiveness of sins. (Jesus died on the Cross as a sacrifice and defeated death by rising from the dead)
