First of all Thanks for your H2R Project! For the animated S/SRC in Companion, is saving the Macros in your ATEM software necessary for that? It would be awesome if I could save this Animations directly on the SteamDeck. Cheers

I cannot for the life of me get this to run properly on a Constellation 8K. I see at the bottom of the tool that there's a future feature of support for larger ATEMs. Does this tool currently work for the 8K? Or is that part of a future software update? I was able to get the stinger tool to run properly. My other question: Do you need the companion application running for these macros to run properly? I'm trying to trigger the macro directly from the ATEM and the macro fires, but doesn't actually do anything. Thank you for the video- you're an incredible resource for all things production.

Hello, I'm an image director and I follow your channel almost all the time ultimamate I have a question about the animated supersource, I want to know how to do animation directly with the console, I'm currently working with the console 4 ME I made an animated supersurce using kay with DVE and the other with Luma because I need to reveal a GC that is in L shape, we use it a lot in sports broadcasting I really want to see and understand better about supercurce animations, especially if you can do this directly on the console using flayerkay, I will be very grateful

I see that any animated Super Source layouts I make with this tool places those macros at the end of the pool. This suggests the tool is limited to creating one animated Super Source Layout that can be used at any one time. If I buy one of the packs, does that give me the ability to add more than one Super Source layout from whichever collection I buy?

Purchasing the pack does not - out of the box - allow you to add multiple layouts. Though since the pack is a collection of XML files, you can simply edit the macro numbers on the downloaded XML files and change the Macro index to a smaller number so as not to place it at the end of the macro pool. The idea behind my version of animated macros is to really use one layout exclusively in a production and I have built it to optimize for that purpose.

Unfortunately that ATEM does not have SuperSource. I believe you need the 2M/E for that.

@@not-bot That was my original plan however you cannot "Change button image" as an internal action on Companion so I opted not to do it to avoid the layout being duplicated on multiple buttons. Good thinking though!
