Damn, this figure is impressive. I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen articulation this good. That checker board pattern would have driven me insane from a toy design standpoint, but SHF pulled it off beautifully.

Everything about this figure is almost perfect except no breathing techniques accessories which sucks and I really really wish tamashii would make Tanjiro’s haori a cloth material because he doesn’t always wear it and would’ve gave us options to have it on or not. Missed opportunity

The sword guard is Rengoku's, and the blade is from the swordsmith village that him and Kotetsu found..... I remembered that chapter 265 of JJK came out, so I dipped for a bit and came back. Lol......This Tanjiro is definitely the best, and hopefully, the rest of the line is this good, too. Great review.

Don't worry, you're correct about his katana. In season 1, he broke his sword when fighting Rui. In the movie, he threw it at Akaza when he was running from the sun. In season 2, he chipped his katana in the big fight with Upper Moon 6. Finally, Haganezuka combined Tanjiro's katana with Yoriichi's and finally added Rengoku's guard that he got in season 2.

I really thought its smaller than the buzzmod so that it would be inscale with the other shf figures ( like the head or other parts should be slightly smaller or inscale especially when compared with shf kenshin).. iMO I'd still go with buzzmod coz of the soft goods and accessories

Shi figurearts is climbing up the ranks I’m starting to think buzzmod. Is really not keeping up with enough efforts look at rengoku 2.0 the cape design is awful in my opinion and all the haori designs are all awful Buzzmod. Be lacking with higher prices
