(Animation) Dummies vs Noobs - Wave 10

Q&A (the description answers most of these but people don't read it): "Where'd you get the City map?" I made it from scratch, using the in-game rangefinder from the mouse HUD to measure things, re-creating everything as closely as I could. "Where are the mechanical units?" Tanks and platforms weren't on Wave 10 for half the time when I was making the animation. I could have re-done my previous footage or added them in only the second half, but I didn't like either of those options. APUs and Rangers also have somewhat complicated models, and this was my very first animation, so I was afraid of creating proper rigs for those models and animating them. "Where'd you get the rest of the assets from Dummies vs Noobs?" I searched up "Dummies vs Noobs" in the Roblox Studio toolbox and found the "Dummies vs Noobs kit" by FossilFalls, which contained a lot of the assets from DvN. It was missing the maps, a few effects (like the rallying cry effect), random projectiles (like Daedalus's rock or the harpoon gun's red harpoon bullet things), and a lot of sounds (like every sound related to the bosses) though. "Where'd you get the sounds from the game?" I'd say half came from the DvN kit, and the other half came from recording in-game audio using a private server. "What's the song name?" "Full Force", by Lemoncake. It's one of the songs that plays on Wave 10 (and personally my favourite one). "How did you animate this?" I used Moon Animator in Roblox Studio, and I recorded everything with OBS Studio and edited it in Shotcut. "This is so unrealistic!" Yes, it isn't very realistic. I didn't want to showcase everyone dying and camping safely on buildings, I wanted to showcase how awesome it feels when the music is playing at full blast and you're tactically obliterating everything in your path while fighting all three bosses at the same time (unless you're still learning and getting better at the game). "Are you making more?" Yes. I'm doing everything by myself, and I'm making these just for fun because I like the game a lot.

We need that mechanic. Use downed teammates as projectiles, to throw into enemies for heavy damage, but at the cost of their down status getting worse (Dead -> Mangled -> Mutilated). You can allow being thrown when downed in settings maybe.

My intention was to depict the game from a cinematic perspective; while a lot of things are decently game accurate, I broke plenty of the game's rules and made things a lot easier on the dummies than they should be. i just discovered this, and its so good beyond words! it makes all the kits look so cool and maxed out to their full potential, and as a medic main who uses vitabow, im so glad that rarer kits like engineer turrets and medics were made to look just as invincible as scouts and assaults. every person on that team had a purpose, and each fight felt so realistic to the actual game with the adrenaline this gave in a weird and exhilarating way :O this animation is smooth af, and love your work!

As an avid medic/aerorig user, I really love how inaccurately medic is portrayed. Aerorig got SO much love though, and it was really well done. Genuine, excellent cinema. Side note, what I meant by inaccurate is like... I would never revive someone so out in the open like that since they would just die again instantly. For the saboteur scene, it'd take at least half a minute for me to get there and revive lol.

depending on the Difficulty. Example: (Hell, Or Masochist) fighting Achilles, Trident, Hermes at the same time is just death sentence. Whenever the players try to focus onto one boss while running from others. Due to Trident's fast hook, Achilles's range and Instakill when locked, and Hermes's rocket , and machinegun barrage. ok but what about the nusian engineers, platforms, tanks, grenaiders and other bosses that are hard but not so much. Also in lots of games I join, I am the only one with 10R on wave 10 so it would have been neat to add a new player with base materials for added realism. I am surprised how no one ends up dying to mines even though those are very hard to spot on city. I am also upset for the lack of terrible loadout users like combat medics and MADS users. I do wish that there wasn't a seldom amount of advanced units like there only being 2 gunners and surprisingly no snipers even though they are arguably the hardest non boss unit at Wave 10. One thing that also irks me is the medic using the vitabow to (try) kill basic fodder units WHILE BEING INFRONT OF THE BARRIER. Weirdest part is the part where the dummy at 2:58 gets taken by the aerorigger even though that isn't possible in game. I do like this but I do wish you cared more about how faithful this is to the original game
