See how Jaja was about to go in and then when she realized Flattop was stepping up she stepped back in anticipation to watch? Thats because dancers who know the history and have been around, know that Flattop is a wonder to watch and does nothing but bring knowledge and entertainment to the table ANYTIME he is around. You don't have to bow to him, but he should be respected. Jaja showed respect in that split second. Flattop is a kind soul and all he ever has tried to do is teach people so that the next generation can carry the torch and keep that spirit alive.

R.I.P. Mr. Animation one of the coldest of the animation style! Shout out to the O.G. Flattop. When I was a kid I only went to Venice Beach to see Animation and Flattop!!! Shoutout to O.G. Boppin Andre! Somebody find b-boy Tommy Boy. Tell him we miss him! I used to watch all these dudes before I would go to middle school dances and use everything I saw them do during a battle!

Damn, real SINBADDIN doesn’t really read on camera. Watching Andres solo in person was crazy...the Sinbaddin and stutter stops he was doing was crazy. Camera only pics up speed control and stops. Hmmmm. Better in person.

Probably has to do with framerates, I've seen videos of Boogaloo Shrimp Sinbaddin really well in an interview he did. In other words it IS possible to capture it on cam but I'm not a camera person so I dunno if higher or lower framerate solves the issue.

Andre is awesome!! You can see some of it, but true camera is not showing all the essence. You did an amazing round too!! You always keep it funky! I think it was a great opportunity for you to showcase Clinkin style though. I watched your tutorials on the Style and i have to say is SICK, but its a shame i don't see any dancer nowadays doing it, nor in showcases nor in battles.. I would love to learn and watch more about this style!

Event was filmed at 29.97fps so it could possibly be that there wasn't enough frames to really capture the Sinbaddin. Might need to bump it up to 59.94fps. Yes seeing it live was crazy amazing! Always down to do some tests and see what settings can really capture the techniques.
