I would say Ultu Ulla is good especially if you're only just getting into Rings of Saturn, that's the album I started off with and the rest of the albums felt easier to listen to after that.

@@joshuamcvicker7440 ultu Ulla was stock, boring shred metal thats been done before. I wasn't wowed when I heard it like with lugal and gidim. Miles is amazing don't get me wrong but I think joel is way more creative when it comes to writing. Miles kinda goes by the book in terms of applying theory to all his shit. Joel just writes what he hears in his head and its dope.

I grew up with king crimson rush Pink Floyd Iron Maiden than I got into more Melodic ambient progressive death metal. At the gates spawn of possession atheist death morbid Angel hypocrisy Necrophagist immolation. You can try some of these bands or, a lot of power metal bands
