I forget Boogaloo Shrimp went to Japan and literally introduced all of this to their culture! You can still find the old video clips they even had him advertising toothpaste and a truck commercial I believe! I remember him saying he really enjoyed this time in Japan! It still is interesting seeing them dress up in the west coast fashion style, if y'all show this clip to ice cube he probably be confused 😆

You are the orignal /authenic of life.everything else is replica/carbon copy.We are cool like that.even your bad habits will be copied .The most MOCK man on the planet is YOU..Every nationality copies the black man.You just have to recognized your own shit.you are among thieves that will take your shit and SWEAR it's theirs. I am too old not to recognized authenic hip hop.Some hip hop legends are dead.In about 20 years,these other people will have claim some part of our culture as theirs.mark my word.If E-40 wasn't alive,Lil yatchy would have claimed using the word" broccoli lingo" for the first time in a rap song as HIS. .E-40 had to pull out his shit AND Let him know, "Everyone ain't dead yet, I did it first."no one had lingo like e-40,twister,dana dane,and many more . This is why i enjoy seeing bugaloo get down, and all my Authenic hip hop people who come out to play. It was fun back then! Not loaded with death.

most of the name in urban dances were just slang at beggining. there is no real academy behind all the techniques, names and styles. so there is no real right and wrong. i for example would say that boog is a kind of boogaloo(electric) but you are more focused on your legs than on the whole body. the first time i saw this word, was in a suga-pop video, in which he dances like i described.
first track: Xzibit/WC/Daz Dillinger - Get Your Walk On [Remix][Instrumental]

Why such a great Japanese dancers like these guys can not take a good camera and shoot themselves as do Americans?Why do they have no channels on y tube. Shows that shot on a phone camera is not something that should remain after them.They earned more...
@liangsong15399 жыл бұрын
Сергей Харитонов These guys all make money teaching classes and winning competitions. Some, like Gucchon, manage his own dance academy. A lot of them even have their own brand clothing. Making KZbin videos for a living takes energy, and these guys are focusing their energies elsewhere. Also, they do make videos on KZbin; you just have to look hard enough. Finally, most of the American KZbin dancers dance to dubstep. These guys don't. I wonder how a general population, who is uneducated in popping, would appreciate these guys.
@Nedofaust9 жыл бұрын
+Liang Song You answer not my questions.Read my post one more time. The boys are the best in the world.Their style is not important.I just speak about 300$ camera...Why don't they understand it's important for their classes and academies...
@liangsong15399 жыл бұрын
Сергей Харитонов I read your post and tried to answer the question you asked, "Why do they have no channels on y tube." To answer your other question, this is a popular show shot in high definition and broadcasted in Japanese TV. It's the KZbin video that's poor quality, and it was uploaded by someone when 480p was considered decent quality on KZbin back in 2009.

Animation?? Where is the robot ? Slowmotion ? Strobing ? Ticking ? I can't see it ...
@souzahemmanuelruzario28486 жыл бұрын
Robot is a distinct style different to animation and boogaloo and I don't know how you didn't see the strobing and ticking in there. Also if you have time go search videos where OG's explain the styles, for animation which for me I believe Flattop is the best reference, they say animation style is less about the dimestops and all those elements but more about exuding a more inhuman feel (looking like you aren't human) since back in the day animation was more based on stop motion in old movies. If you do your research you will find that there is a lot more to animation than what much of the modern (younger) scene deems it. I'm still expanding my horizons on animation since I'm still low level and animation is core part of my style and I don't have access to proper popping teachers so I watch these types of videos to understand these distinctions. Also if you want easy access to some high level knowledge watch a channel called Otis Funkmeyer, the guy has links to some of the best dancers and teachers out there and his whole channel is dedicated to spreading popping knowledge that a lot of people do not have access to.
