This song has been on repeat in my head for weeks. I love it because of how genuine she is here. In the first half, she is excited with that big sinister smile when talking without Mepad confronting her. After Mepad tries to talk her out of it, Taco feels she must justify it more, which turns the song into passionate and loud singing about how much she can’t restart and how she *must* destroy this game to avoid hurting the people still in it. It is truly an amazing and unique “villain” song.

@@randomyoutuberobot3247 that's something i've thought about too. i think that's intentional. before this episode, i never really pitied her. however, with this song showing us how scared she is, and her cracking at the end, you get to see how she really felt. that she was remorseful for her actions. and we naturally want a happy ending for everyone in the series who deserves it, and we believe in second chances. so as long as she regrets the mistakes she's made, we sympathize for her and forgive her, without even thinking about what she did in the past. i honestly don't know why they did this. i guess they wanted all characters to have some sort of ending, or they have something planned in the finale, like you said. but whatever the reason may be, they changed taco from a minor antagonist to a pitiful character who feels guilty for her actions. that might have been for a reason

Honestly the most genius aspect of this song is the music. The lyrics work so well because the music gives off a Taco kind of a vibe. It has a villainous tango style, in fact I know a couple of songs and soundtracks with similar musical instrument uses. Either way, this pictures Taco as a troubled yet manipulative character who even after hearing her out, you're not sure if you should ultimately trust. Well done.
