After watching the last episode of AvM,I realised that SC would definitely be like King if they were pushed far enough. Both characters are willing to fight the whole world for hurting their loved ones,even if it's just them. We've already seen what King has done to avenge his son;we've also learned that SC unlocked their powers when their friends were literally murdered in AvM 5 Both of them also share similarities in design:both have orange as their main color,and they're both unique from the main cast,with King being the tallest(and quite possibly the only adult)and SC(other then TDL and TCO)being the only one with a hollowed out head. I know their whole thing is about creation,but I'm scared what lengths would SC go if there was literally no way to bring their friends back.

@Mage Guest I also thought it was his tiny brother at first. But when I let the story play out, I'm more convinced it's a dad. There isn't much to show if King had a girlfriend. But there also wasn't much to show that King had parental or guardian figures around either. Also, if King is a single father whose relationship ended from negative circumstances, pictures of his son's mom wouldn't be around anyway. There's the fact that height is a big thing to show age in the series. Orange is a bit taller than the rest, and has shown to be more mature and cautious than the others, hence being older. King is taller than all of them, indicating him as an adult figure and the others as late teens.

I'd agree, but we've seen enough of both to know what they turn to. King's way of dealing with grief was instantly destruction. Destroying the entire concept of Minecraft when one experimental Minecraft world took his son. Full of vengeance and hatred, which King then realized was wrong and doesn't solve anything. Only brought more pain to others. SC, every time its friends died, looked for better ways to deal with the adversity. They wanted to ruin Alan, but creatively did so, to make the message known that Alan can't treat stick life that loosely. Ruining his social life, messing up his phone, but also, creating new animals and people to give them the freedom of expression that their friends didn't get the chance to have. When TDL killed their friends in AvA 5, the first thing SC did in his power-up was not go after TDL in a mad fit, but stopped the spiders from entering the portal. He wanted to end the evil that was killing those friends and avenge their legacy. Not seek revenge first. Even when Green died in the PvP short, SC held a funeral. SC has a healthier way of handling loss. Very unlikely that they'll turn to the dark side (without external corruption, of course ;) ).

This really hits different after all the time we spent watching these guys evolve into individuals with well fleshed-out personalities, gaining skills/powers, becoming best friends and making new friends along the way. Makes you see it in a whole new context. Edit: Also, rewatching this made me realize something: There seems to be a pattern with Red where in the majority of instances, if not all, he's the first to go down whether by getting deleted or incapacitated in any other way. That's mostly because he's the most impulsive one and the first to jump into action, but it happens here too, while he's not even doing anything Alan decides to delete him first through Task Manager. He also seems to be the one to attract trouble the most.

It's actually quite interesting to notice just how much Alan has improved since making this masterpiece! It didn't seem all that different until you go back and see them side by side... the newer animations are just somehow smoother and more defined, but in a subtle way. You wouldn't expect it to be possible to improve perfection and yet somehow he did.

You know, it's been a long time since I saw your first "episode" of these animations. Guess it's close to 8 years, and that would have put me in the 6th grade. The whole concept was my favorite, and I used to be really into sites like stickpage and all their stick fight animations. I never thought I would come back and see numbers 3 and 4, and 4 being such a profound watch. In 13 minutes I saw what is now probably not even close to being one of your biggest projects, but made me feel connected to you in the craziest way. Since I'm now in my sophomore year of college studying computer science, it's so strange thinking about middle school watching your first animations. And it's amazing how far you went with it. It looks like you've done really well for yourself doing something it seems like you love, and maybe I'm just a big sap, but there was more emotion roiling in me from this video than a lot of movies I've seen. The scene where you pan to your workspace and see all these concepts you threw out or stopped and the stick figure finishing them, perfecting them. I could see this point where it made sense, that the reason you're doing what you're doing now is because 8 years or so ago you made this funny little animation about an animator defending his work from his creation, and now from just that you've become such a fantastic artist and it's all thanks to that little bastard who killed AIM. I'm glad you stuck with it, and I wish I had the passion, patience, and dedication for the things I love that you do. I hope you keep doing it. But for me, nothing you do will ever compare to this. You have touched my heart, and it just makes it really special. I hope you read this and it makes you smile, and thank you for the nostalgia from 12 year old me, and thank you for... You know, I don't know how to say it. But I think you know what I meant when I said this animation is special. So just thank you.
