it's a water-base acrylic sealer usually used to seal fireproof doors. I colored it and thinned whit some water for the first coat and after drying I've put it directly whit a spatula to add texture. the foam becomes harder and rubbery!

There's a talking tree in the one in Texas at a beach, I'm watching a very recent (like 3 days ago as of writing this in April 2021) Carpetbagger video on the Rainforest River Dark Ride, and it's what reminded me of this.

considering only materials 6000 euros but it toke 40 days to build it in 2 people! it's all made of class m1 fire resistant materials and it was not easy to find them, after that it's only iron foam and servo motors, but you mast consider that it takes many tools to work on it and they were very very expensive!
@andreagiomaro14 жыл бұрын
sure I did! first liquid coat darker, second less liquid coat less dark, than spatula coat brown, then acrylic paint yellow-white for lights! more coats and more colors you use more textured becomes the tree!

it's uretan foam, the one they use for sofas but it's fireproof! first of all I',ve sculpted it than I sealed it using an acrilic sealant (fireproof) whit whater, so the foam drunk it a little, after a day I added another layer of the sealant but whit no whater so it was quite sclptable so I added the wood-texture!

@andreagiomaro7 жыл бұрын
judit H it was not silicone, it was acrylic fireproof sealor, (the one they use to seal doors) you can tin acrylic stuff by water and almost every silicone by acetone or naphta (zippo lighter fluid is great to tin silicone for paintjobs!)...

it was not silicone, it was acrylic fireproof sealor, (the one they use to seal doors) + acrylic colour paint. Yyou can tin acrylic stuff by water and almost every silicone by acetone or naphta (zippo lighter fluid is great to tin silicone for paintjobs!)... not to prime cause the paint goes inside the foam and they became one!
