Honestly I am surprised other Anime TD KZbinrs aren't going over this too (mainly Pery and Nagblox) and every single point you mentioned in the video is facts. I understand that the stages take forever to clear, especially the story stages (which they should've changed or optimized to be made cleared faster), but all the other content like raids and the event stages were made to be long so I personally don't think 2x/3x speed is necessary. However, in terms of all the other points you made, 100% facts. I think the AA devs dropped the game thinking that they were still going to be the top dogs in the Anime TD economy because of how popular they were back then, but things changed. The fact that they didn't think to add features that all the other games have like seamless retry, unit manager, mythic pity that transfers over, and a lot more features that should've been in the game on re-release is crazy to me. They had a whole year + more to add these things, and I understand they had the legal battle to fight and models to change but I feel like those QOL features listed could be easily added within a months time. Without these features, the game is quite literally the same game that was here 1 year ago, and it just feels old to play. The models can compete with current day Anime TD games and way better than ALS' models, but other than that, they lose in every other aspect. The second biggest disappointment about the re-release of AA in my opinion would be the trait rerolls situation. They changed nothing about it, and we've been complaining about it way before the game got shut down. The trait reroll system is still P2W and they didn't add a consistent and new way to get and farm trait rerolls nor did they give us codes that give us any trait rerolls despite the game taking a WHOLE YEAR to come back. We could've gotten 50 maybe even 100 for a code but no, they chose not to. They didn't have to be like ALS where they give us thousands of free trait rerolls a week but it could've been like AV or AR in which we can get trait rerolls through an event shop with event currency or achievements and daily quests. But no, still no changes to the trait reroll system. Don't get me wrong, I'll definitely play the game still because the game is still enjoyable, but like I mentioned before, it feels old to play and disheartening to me when I get 2 rerolls max for the update.

There was never a mythic pity, It was a rule of thumb back then to have around ~12.5k gems and a luck potion to get a mythic. But like yeah I still prefer als over aa right now.

AA was a passion project by high schoolers, if anything is a cashgrab its the games like reborn and AV that made their games purely to profit off of the desperate AA players.

You are 100% valid on every point except for the models a huge chunk of them are trash units you wont ever use (yes there are some meta units that are completely diffrent but majority of the meta units look good even with the copyright free models) end of the day it is still Anime adventures instead of completely getting rid of copyrighted units they switched them and kept the ones that wont get the game terminated again. I will say the game needs massive Qol fixes ASAP before I consider it to be a good TD game

​ @MagicHavoc and that came from a dev who wasn't even a dev anymore and when they say DMCA issues they mean the models and claimed stuff. they spent a lot of the year talking to roblox about copyright, and they only had a month to work on the game judging from the announcement "There is still a lot of work that needs to be done" this would explain some remodels like brook to be just a skull emoji. And QOL features are being added in the NEXT UPDATE which if we are going off of AA schedule it will be in the next 2 weeks (which is fine since they just rereleased a whole game).

lemme do the math for u rq, theres 20 stories, with story skip, u have to only do 20 stages (one for each map) so, if it takes 10 minutes per stage, and u have to do 20 maps, it would take 1 hour for 6 stages to be completed, so to do all of the story it would take almost 4 hours :)

It really sucks but as we've seen with als, quantity always beats quality. I get Aa had to go through lots of legal stuff, so they didn't have a full year. However, if they needed more time to change shit, they should've taken the time. But no, they wanted to get it out for Christmas. Aa needs better take grinding(like reborn or av), better rates (again reborn is good with that), better pacing, more QoL (They said they would be on par in terms of this but, as we can see they aren't.) In my opinion, Awtd is probably the best TD game right now. F2p friendly, lots of content, devs who interact with their community. With Av and Reborn being close seconds. Edit: Forogot to mention that your video explains the situation perfectly, dont listen to the people putting you down cuz you were low level. Im just hoping Astd X will save us from this money hungry Atd arc.

I understand that you have your preference but you're acting like no other games have problems. Yeah I agree that the game should add 2x speed to long events, but saying the game is a cash grab while ignoring the fact that almost all the games you just mentioned all came out cuz they saw AA was making money. Also, there are ways to get rr. Daily challenges, event missions awards, level up awards, and free bp. You don't have to love or like the game, but saying it's a cash grab because you don't feel like grinding rr is not a good case. You're right about the gold trait tho. The golden being next to unique is dumb and idk why they just don't add rare, epic,and leg versions of the trait. PS( you can join globally to find people so if something is too hard, you don't have to do it alone.) Again, it is your preference so I can't be mad at that, but do a little research before calling a game a name like that.

The games that I mentioned are literally F2P, well yeah they're also selling stuff but at least the prices are reasonable unlike AA which cost 129 robux (I believe) for 1 SINGLE RR while 50 RR for 5000 robux tell me how is that not a cash grab. 1-100 lvl only gives 44rr in total (I think), Daily challenge sure gives 10-50 (1-5) shard remnant if you managed to beat it. Enemy HP starts with 100k minimum of 60k yeah you ain't beating that without Celestial+ trait and yeah free battle pass also gives a total of 11rr and even if you manage to afk 24hrs infinite you ain't maxing out that battlepass. Even Nag himself said that the maximum RR you can get on AA for a month if you're F2P is less than 40.
