This is what I say to SAO haters who didn't watch Alicization, not only Kirito grew as a character, you can tell the writer himself got better at storytelling, it sure has it's logical flaws, but it has great visuals, sound effects, music, characters, and very interesting themes explored.. so it's still a great anime/ride overall

So was the writer. I think people always forget the original SAO was a web novel submission to an online contest, and then it essentially went viral. The author was really young, and didn't have the time or experience to full develop his world and characters. That's why he spends so much time going back and retconning stuff. There's so many stories and things he wanted to tell, but didn't have time to come up with. The quality of his writing from the first few books to the start of alicization is a day and night difference. ​@iepvienredstoneHuy007

Is starburst stream really supposed to be that amazing? Back in SAO I get it, he started dual wielding and had to use the system to help. I assumed he would have just done his own combo to be even stronger or something. Didnt Yuuki have a combo that was better? Or does it not work because it's for a single handed weapon?

There are better combos but for what he's used to (and without system assist in the underworld) starburst is probably his most reliable dual wield skill
