Nice walkthrough vid! So glad they finally improved the entry lines, now no waiting time vs. 3-4 hours a few years ago. This year there was so much going on outdoors (2 food courts, beer garden, live bands) that I missed out on a lot of panels and the Exhibit Hall lol.

I used to go to anime expo every year since about 2003. But I stopped going in 2019. My group I normally go with, and I were all very disappointed in the crowd control. We made the experience fun, but we had to be in Vegas the next day for a wedding. Ordinarily, going to AX early for a few hours, and then driving over to Vegas in the evening wouldn't have been a problem. But we had to wait outside for 3 hours in the sun before getting in when we hadn't had to do that for years. Threw our whole day off. We couldn't get in any panels either. For the amount of money we had to spend to do what we did that day wasn't worth it. We've been waiting for Con staff to get a handle on things before going back. Thank you for sharing this video. Despite the complaints, I deeply miss the ritual of spending time with friends and family at AX every year. And it is nice to experience a little of it vicariously through your video. Hopefully we can go back again someday.

Was it really difficult to get in? Like, wait for 5 plus hours? I've heard stories of those going for the full weekend and end up wasting 1 whole day and barely getting in day 2. Even if you go during the middle of the day! But based on your experience, it seems reasonably crowded but quick

Since Anime Expo came back from being in hiatus during COVID , I can see that they have manage to organize the line traffic and now it’s way better than past years. In my experience during the 4 days, it was easy to move around, they hired more security which controls the traffic and the wait times are no longer an issue to get inside the convention. Yes it’s crowded but it’s Anime Expo, the biggest Anime Convention in the United States, and I enjoyed my time there without any problems.

@@O.Photography 8am is a perfect time to arrive at Anime Expo. You will get the chance to get the swag bag, program and check out cosplays before heading inside the exhibit hall 👍

@@AeroAngle good question, I thought I did 😭 I think I got to make sure to adjust the settings. I am recording on my iPhone 15 pro Max , I put it it in the highest settings 😭 Thanks 😊 for the feedback, next time I will get the settings right for 1080HD. Hope you like the ANime Expo 2024 experience

It is only hot if you stay outdoors 😭 But if you stay inside the convention center it’s very cool and comfortable 👍
