I think people misunderstand just how hard it is to paint in vr. Part of an artists entire musclememory is the pressure and weight of the items we hold and knowing how much pressure to apply onto a canvas. In vr its about knowing when ur brush is in the canvas or not and that itselef is a challange no matter how good u see.

Holy crap that’s INSANE!! My mind is blown just from seeing the crisp tapered lines! Is the thickness of each line actually dependent on how much of the brush is ‘touching’ the virtual canvas? Or was the varying thickness of the lines changed in the settings in between the clips?? Either way is still impressive, but I’d be AMAZED if it actually turned out to be dependent on how heavily you paint each stroke 🤯
