Aw man, I remember tracking my sales like that. I switched to using Square to track my inventory plus cash and card sales (because I was already using it for card processing).

I've considered switching to something digital, but I'm concerned that it would add time to the transaction if I have to scroll through stuff. And I don't have the means to do like... barcodes or something. :U

our local cons put the food court IN the artist alley, or rather behind it, so you have to walk past all the artists to get to it and honestly i fw that idea because it means almost everyone sees the artists

Can you share with us how you have your keychains and pins made? And how you make your own stickers and prints? Also thanks for this video btw. Participating in an artist alley is a longterm goal of mine, so it's great hearing artists' feedback on different cons.

It was a pleasure meeting you at Anime Frontier! I looked up your web comic as soon as I got home and got caught up in a manner of 4 days lol. I do agree the layout for dealers hall was a little weird. The cafeteria in the middle made the artist ally feel disconnected. Everything also felt crowded but I don't know a dealer's hall that DOESN'T feel crowded. I can also agree not worth flying in for as someone who did fly in from another country TO attend the con (Mainly to see my friend who lived in Tx who also attended last year). Didn't regret it though as I did find some good merch and got new webcomics to read and artists to follow.

I've been basically binge watching your videos since I found your channel the other day and I'm really impressed by the amount of just sheer STUFF you have on your display table :0 I've always had making and selling merch as a bit of a daydream of mine and this year I've started trying to actually put that to action. All your artist alley vids and your livestream webcomics 102 about how to get money thru your webcomic specifically have been very illuminating :)

This is so useful. I really appreciate how you showed how you did your setup. I found the parts where you showed the mini command hooks to hold charms and the Velcro zip ties to hold the diagonal pieces to be really helpful. 💜

I am in LOVE with your set up. I have got to ask, where did you find those 6x12 cube panels? I have been searching everywhere and am struggling to find them! I find you concept for them to be GENIUS!

The exact ones I bought aren't available on Amazon anymore- but the brand is Songmics, that's where I got all my cubes. Look up modular cube shoe storage- the specific ones I have are marketed as shoe lockers!

Hi! I was also a vendor at AF and yea the con was pretty slow in my opinion but I was lucky because the type of merch I deal with is otome, bl and idol franchises and hardly any vendors had that so I wqs fortunate to profit at anime frontier unlike some vendors.

I've been in cons like once or twice a year as an attendee and I want to be more active in it as an artist. I'm not selling my art... yet but hopefully I am able to get my stuff in there. I have one question tho, what's panels?

Too late now, but most hotels have some little toiletries if you forget anything, deodorant, tooth brush etc. Sometimes they are complementary; sometimes there is a fee but saves you some panic.

Why would som3one want to steal pins and stickers. If you go to these cons, you want to support your favourite artists and buy their stuff. What can an evil-doer do with an artist's stuff? Is s/he going to sit there and struggle to sell them?
