its all the more impressive she had such a colossal impact in just a year and a half, kiryu coco left not just a permanent mark on hololive but vtubing as a whole, now its no longer just some niche japanese thing, but a worldwide phenomenon that is only growing alot of people that absolutely would never have picked up being a youtuber because of introversion, poor self image and other such things now have the confidence to do so because of her making vtubing what it is today, theres a line in calliope mori's song "off with there heads" that mentions "an ocean full of competition"...well kiryu coco is the dragon that made that ocean as wide and as deep as it is today.

If there were a Hololive creation myth, Coco would be the primordial dragon that carved the oceans. And then, with the beating of her wings, gave wind to the sails of those crossing the cultural barriers.

I will say at least this much and no, it isn't meant to undercut Coco. If there was a Creation Myth, Kizuna would probably be the Head Deity. Hololive would probably have become the aspected deities, in charge of certain concepts like weather, fertility, etc. Smaller groups would be local gods in charge of certain areas and Indies would be like spirits/yokai who have the potential to become minor deities. What the other poster mentioned, Coco would be a deity of trade, camaraderie, freedom and ideals. Dragons are a form of strength, sometimes of greed, but they are honest and their words are their promises. She's a foreign deity though, being a four legged dragon and not a serpent, but she was accepted into the fold. From there, countless spirits and yokai have grown and been accepted. The Pantheon keeps growing.

It was a short run but a very fulfilling run. It's basically shows a what a full life of a vtuber should be. She started up small but with her unique talent and personality slowly build up a fan base not only for herself but also the whole crew. Eventually her efforts bore fruit and paved a path to a whole new world (en). There are hardships of course but with the support of her friends and her friend base she persevered. Then the departure comes, but we're not gonna see her off with sadness but with a smile and a comforting thought that she's just going after something bigger than what hololive can offer, and that her achievements left a longlasting legacy among the community. It's not exactly a long run but kaichou most certainly lived it to the fullest. I hope that we can do the same when the inevitable comes for the other talents

@Shinji Kudo I’m actually really excited about her graduation. I’m kinda looking forward to it. She hinted so many things. Like how she will be on this “another world”. How we will not be able to see “Kiryu Coco” in that world (I interpreted it as “vtuber model and name belongs to COVER Corp. so I can’t exactly take that with me”) and how she wouldn’t be able to accomplish some of her big plans if she stayed in hololive.
