it did the COMPLETE opposite of that lol. it introduced the 4th spellblade in ep 6 when oliver fought his teacher and that was BY FAR the best ep of the show but literally everything after that for the entire season acted as if that never happened and never mentioned the revenge plot or spellblades ever again. well i lie. THEY MENTIONED THE REVENGE PLOT IN THE LAST 30 SECONDS OF THE SEASON AS OLIVER TALKS TO HIMSELF AND THE TEACHERS WALK BY lol. absolutely wasted my time. OH and i love how there was a person in their group who got not one bit of not even development but deadass didnt even get character traits so i just called him "red hair guy" cuz i didnt know his name.... UNTIL HALF WAY THROUGH THEY SAY HIS NAME AND ITS ACTUALLY JUST "guy" lol. even the story knows hes an absolutely waste of a character. i wanted this show to b good so bad. and all it did was piss me the fuck off
